Localização do hotel

The hotel has a private beach, lounge chairs, and kayaks available for free.
They advertise multiple a la carte restaurants included in the all-inclusive rate, however, there are no reservations available, and I was not able to book a single reservation throughout my stay. They only have one buffet available for dinner, with long lines, and poor-quality food. Also, there were long lines to get drinks in the pool area and to get snacks, which only consisted of burgers, hot dogs, nachos, and fries. It was pretty much made to target American tourists and did not highlight Mexican cuisine and culture. The rooms are too small and the hotel staff take to long to address requests. I called once to request more towels and bottled water, and they showed up three hours later. When I called back asking again for the towels, the staff was rude, and they just kept telling me they were on their way. By the time they arrived, me and my family had already showered. MAIN THING... STAY AWAY FOR THE SCAMMING COMPLEMENTARY BREAKFAST, IT IS NOT A 90 MIN PRESENTATION, IT'S ABOUT 3 HRS WHERE THEY WILL BASICALLY PRESSURE YOU INTO BUYING THE HOTEL MEMBERSHIP, ABOUT $69K. NOT WORTH WAISTING YOUR TIME, THEY OFFERED ME A COMPLEMETARY PIRATE TOUR WHICH THEY DID NOT HONOR, AND THE REP ENDED UP HIDING AND THEIR SUPERVISORS COVERING UP FOR THEM. Also, the $40 they offer has no value at the hotel.

Era cómodo
Que los empleados son unos estafadores y buscan quitarle el dinero al turista y no poder reservar en los restaurantes

The beach was nice and staff were very nice
My room took about 2days not being clean. Ceiling leaking from my room no clean towels when being ask and the food not to good

The location was good. The place was not. Old, children everywhere, not as advertised.
It wasn't all inclusive. Everything was not included. I went to 2 restaurants and they wouldn't serve me because my wristband was not dark blue. I tired to order a drink and was told the same thing. All I could order was warm beer. I spoke with the hotel reception and they quoted me a charge of $480 to upgrade my wristband to the dark blue color. I declined the offer to pay more for what should have been disclosed ahead of time. I opted not to check in. The hotel refunded the government fee they charged me and said to contact booking.com for my refund. Booking.com has told me the hotel must approve the refund. Still waiting for my refund. I recomend RIU Latino for an excellent vacation.

location and price
MikoTako food and service
Cleaning room service very friendly
The AC was leaking inside the room, the water coming out of the shower and sink had a horrible smell like rotten eggs or sewerage.
The staff not as nice as other hotels I have stayed in Cancún, simply seem unhappy, particularly at reception and bar by the pool.
Cleaning lady was very kind, friendly, even she reported to maintenance the AC issue. The waitress at the MikoTaco where super attentive and friendly, I enjoyed that restaurant.

The activities on site
The rooms need to be upgraded. Good luck in getting wash towels. Bring your own to take a bath/shower. Didn’t like being hassled during my stay on joining their membership club (timeshare). It’s like customer service goes out the window when you say no. They are more friendly if you are a member or from Mexico.

We liked the beach, pool area
There was a smell of moisture in the room

I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was! There was staff stationed all over the building to help you with anything you may need. The front lobby made sure you were getting on the right shuttle for hotel transfers and any tours you may have booked. You have access to not only the beach directly in front of oasis palm but next door at the sens as well. If you have an ocean view room with the balcony the noise level was fairly high at night time- we adjusted to it just fine but if you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t get a balcony room. Overall the food was really good as well.
as advertised you can tour the caption hook ship that is permanently stationed at the dock but we were unable to do that as included in part of our stay. You had to pay for the caption hook tour that actually went on a boat ride
3.5
The customer service was really good. Anything you need, they are there to assist. Everything else was pleasant and good, no complains.
I wish there was microwave and fridge in every room that would be very nice.

I managed to get a Genius promotion/discount, so the price ended up being excellent considering it is an all inclusive, and many hotels that didn't even offer breakfast were more expensive than this. Not sure I would have the same opinion had I paid full price.
If you are planning to stay in the hotel and do nothing else, you should consider other options, if it is just a place where you eat, sleep and rest after adventuring, then I definitely recommend it.
Wifi was good. Staff were helpfull.
Standard is Mocktail, you've gotta ask for alcohol if you want it,
There is no real fruit in the Cocktail/Mocktail, only industrialized syrups
The rooms need an up do and so do the pillows, they stink
No Frigobar
No water in the rooms
Not enough shampoo replenishing, specially if you are a family
There are queues to reserve restaurants or, depending on the time, for the buffet as well.
Restaurant times are weird, and they are closed between 4 and 6, so no much food around when you get back hungry from a day out,
If you want to enjoy the Caribbean sea, this is by far NOT the most beautiful beach,
They may have enough staff over the weekend, but from Tuesday rooms get cleaned up after 5pm
Swimming pool was closed all day because of chlorine excess (??)
Gym needs aircon

Great value
all inclusive included video games, kayaking, coffee shop, plus a range of a la carte and buffet restaurants
good range of different foods and generally really good quality especially the a la carte restaurants when open
the restaurant and bar staff worked really hard
at the end of our stay they started to demolish several elements including the kids water slides and the bar. there was no apologies or signs of explanation to say what they were doing and why. the lady on reception didn’t really understand when I asked
the reception staff weren’t very welcoming
the kids club staff were a bit ‘flat’
Room was pretty small although we did have a big balcony
the net curtain in our room was covered in stains
due to various construction works, two of the a la carte restaurants were. closed on our last night which was disappointing
3.5
Check-in took an hour or two because the person in-charge didn't know what to do if it's from a third party vendor. But he gave as a voucher to have a buffet lunch instead of waiting which we highly appreciated because we had an early flight and starving. That was really great. We booked a family of five and gave us extra comfy bed w/o charge that makes it 3 beds in all. Foods were great!
Maybe update the shower fixtures. The curtains were dirty and have stains on it.

The staff was wonderful , on the restaurants really very polite and gentil and great service ,all the staff for the hotel I can say .
The wifi on the room doesn't work, the elevators always impossible to use the hotel should invest in more elevators. Some guest smoke everywhere, should be a rule to dont smoke in the hotel .

Everything except the air conditioning of the rooms.
Beach, food, wifi, kids swiming pools park, coctails, restaurants, everything really really good
Air conditioning of the rooms had humid, it smells bad and it was pretty old and dirty.
3.5
It is a beachfront property.
The room was not as expected. There was ongoing construction in the room above me. There was construction next to my room and the smell of paint fumes.
3.5
nice beach, good breakfast, decent buffet, bartenders and waiters friendly. we were allowed to stay couple of extra hours by the pool while waiting for our lost luggage to come before leaving for Cozumel.
the clerk in check in was very unwelcoming and it took for ages. The hotel didn’t have a sufficient number of sun beds by any standards, our other bed and towel had disappeared, while we went swimming and the other bed + towel and beach bag removed to another place. On the second day, there were no clean towels left at 9 am!!! and no towels for the entire day.
3.5
some of the food and the staff at the cabanas on the beach
customer service is terrible most employees have a very very rude and bad attitude specially at the check in and check out recepción. we were a group of 25 people, booked 10 rooms my whole family had complains about the service. Everytime we requested something like blankets, water etc the employees looked annoyed and sometimes denied. I will never booked this hotel again. They over charged me for one of the rooms, they charged me one extra night and when I went to talk to them about it, the employee told me booking had to take care of that even though they were the ones charging me. please do not waste your money booking this hotel!!

location, and price.
takes to long to check in, and check out to manny steps I believe it could be easy ways to mange things done we so much technology we have available now.
3.5
we didn't enjoy anything about our stay, food and service was dreadful. definitely a hotel that needs taking off booking. breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet quality of food and drinks were very very poor and dirty. Claiming to be a family hotel with no kids menu in any of the a la carte restaurants.
I Wish we had checked the reviews of it before booking as it made the end of our holiday awful. lots more out there for the same money
