Clean but shabby

Clean, staff helpful. Location good for us. Bathroom and wc small but adequate.

Shabby. Needs a bit of paint. Quite dear for the quality. Pillows really small and useless

Why were there no smoke detectors in the rooms?

A guest smoked in an adjoining room & the smoke was blown into our room via the ventilation system. We had to sleep with the window open.

Good value for money in the hotel and rooms. Perhaps take breakfast elsewhere.

Ibis Budget seem to offer a good product for the price. It is not the Ritz hotel but neither are the prices from the Ritz. I am pleased to see daily housekeeping although they kept forgetting to replace the paper cup used for teeth cleaning and other things. I helped myself from the housekeeping trolley! So good value for money, comfortable bed.

It sounds very harsh of me to mention this here. If there was a "neutral" box, I would have written it in there because I was not particularly bothered by this. The breakfast is OK. It is not bad. It is not fantastic either. Obviously they are working to a budget so it has to be basic. Plus keep an eye on the machines - the apple juice is run out, and not refilled it seems. Actually save the money and go to the Ange bakery/patisserie just along the road for a cheaper and much better quality breakfast.

Excellent value for money

This hotel offers excellent value for money. The price paid is well worth that which is provided. Acceptable breakfast. The rooms are cleaned daily which doesn't happen at some other hotels.

The femme de menage knocking the door at 08h10 to gain access to the room to clean it! Having a daily clean is a plus but give us a chance to get out please!

Very good value for money

The hotel is very good value for money. The room rate is very attractive. The breakfast is good value. I had it as an extra item and I thought it was worth the money. Plenty of parking.

My room needed some maintenance. It looks like this is a low priority. The door would not shut properly and needed effort to make it "click" closed. The air conditioning needed a service. It was very noisy. Unfortunately the air conditioning control on the wall was broken so I could not vary the temperature or fan speed, otherwise I probably would have turned it off and opened a window. The restaurant needs some more spacing between tables. They have too many tables packed into a small space, especially with the lady next to me coughing and spluttering.

Although I came late and the automatic machine for self-checking was not working (hors service), there was still someone at the reception! and the lady was happy to open and check me in ;-)

There were places left to park the car, but MANY places were blocked/wasted by SEVERAL cars apparently driven by poor drivers. At least 4 cars were completely blocking 2 or 3 places at a time

Superb

Location great for visiting friends fishing at Lac Beaupey, just 5 mins away. Clean rooms, comfy bed, lovely shower, what more could you want for a brief stay. Breakfast was on offer too. Would highly recommend this budget hotel😊.

My Air Con was not working properly, therefore the room was rather hot! Shame, as everything else was good.

Terrible

We did not have breakfast

The place was dark they seemed to be afraid to switch the lights on in reception. If it has a bar of some sort we would have used it but got a machine for drinks. Everything was in darkness The bathroom shower screen need a good scrub. There was no bath mat, I came out of the shower and slipped and had a bad fall. I did not report it. We had to be on the road early We were overlooking the main road and very busy roundabout. I have used ibis many times before and this is the worst experience I have ever had.
