Nice beach location. Large garden. Friendly staff.
Facilities a bit old. We had a problem with the shower. Location right next to a polluted stream.

The staff was AMAZING! They could not have been nicer or more accommodating to my needs. My room was 100 meters from the beach with wide, uninterrupted vistas of the beach and the magical sunsets. It was truly a dream come true to wake up each day enjoying the beauty of the panorama...especially the sunsets.
From almost one month of staying there, I came to appreciate and enjoy the Vietnamese people and culture. While seemingly very stoic and conservative at first, they did warm up to me over time and I found them to be sincerely caring and friendly. I am traveling through Southeast Asia currently to find a landing spot for more long-term living. I plan to return to Phu Quoc and hope to stay in the very same room I had at Arcadia for a 3-6 month stay later this year. That is how much I fell in love with the magical environment that is tailor-made for me. Caution: it is not for everyone...but it was perfect for me.
There is no question that the property needs increased maintenance. That said, it was clear from my tour of the surrounding beach front hotels that COVID caused vast destruction to the resort and tourism industry in this area, and they are more slow to recover than say are Thailand or Bali.
I saw many beautiful hotels still shuttered...awaiting a more fervent return of tourism. So, I could very much understand where the current economics of the area present major challenges for the proprietors. They may have only 25% of their units rented out at any one time, but have to present a full staff to maintain the property and provide the needed services to its clientele at a minimum level. And that is how I perceive the property being maintained currently. It could use a very large infusion of cash to bring the exterior of the buildings to a more desirable presentation. Hopefully, with a full return of the tourist trade, they will be able to make these important investments down the road.

The location and price for sea view bungalow
Nice view and big room but low quality on management and maintenance.

location
probably to many things to list. When booking, the photos must have been from when it was new and is a huge misrepresentation on the properties current connection. dirty, much damage in the room and facilities. When I mentioned some issues they told me I booked with you and to take it up with you, so I said, ok, l will. when they noticed me taking pictures, they offered me a different room which was ok but a lesser room than the one I booked, when I asked for a refund of the difference they said no. The staff were not friendly and also when I mentioned that the property had all beautiful pictures, the reply was, that’s just for marketing. there are many other things I could say but in my opinion you should delist them from Booking.com as their misrepresentation reflects on you as I expect your platform to be honest in what your marketing for your clients.

I didn’t like anything at all anymore I stay 1 time in that property in 2018 and that property was nice and clean back to then but now after COVID-19 it’s seem like they don’t do any maintenance to the property now its all destroyed and many termite in the bongo low I stayed with my family shower was dirty and the front door was heavy to close and the bathroom door gave me hard time to open it the beach is not clean as used to be back to 2018 and the floor looked all messed up as well I got to used my sandals to walk inside of that bongo low

Bungalow for couples

The property is located on the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable and supplied with good clean sheets and towels. Staff were polite and helpful.
The property is a bit run down. It needs some repairs and a coat of paint.

Location and the beach
It would be lovely if we can have breakfast there even though we understand that it's covid time so restaurant would not be able to run at the moment.

Poor facilities, sands on all over the bed, overpriced, the wooden floor has a lot of depths and holes

The view is amazing, I love how peace it is, but the restaurant is not opened again and too much mosquito

Property on beach front
Property was not value for money as it was rather basic, it lacked facilities, ie no swimming pool. For the price I paid, I think it should've included breakfast. The WiFi was very poor.

the beds were ok, the sheets were very nice.
The restaurant food was very poor. It took one hour for our food to arrive as there were only 2 staff working on 1st January. One of our 3 rooms that we booked was nowhere near an acceptable standard and it was damp, dirty, full of bugs and not fit for occupation. The shower door was broken and our daughter got locked in. We insisted on a change of room which they were reluctant to do as they said he hotel was completely full. We had to wait until the next morning before we could speak to the manager who agreed reluctantly to change the room. The next room was slightly better but again damp with hidden air fresheners and bare wires hanging out of the sockets by the bed - super dangerous. Lovely to be on the beach but it needed cleaning more often. Overall the Arcadia is shabby and needs a complete over haul and is well overpriced for the standard of accommodation and facilities.
