Beautiful hotel, good location and friendly staff
I couldn't fault our stay

Room was excellent.
Very clean and spacious.
Bathroom very well equipped, loved the Jacuzzi
For a little under £16 each, breakfast was shocking. I've never had such a low quality sausage and black pudding.
Should have gone to the beach cafe as recommended.

The service was excellent as was the food
It was a Sunday and no meals were available in the restaurant so we were told a meal could be had in the residents lounge. We went down for 6.15 hoping to have a quiet drink before our meal we ordered our food but unfortunately there was a wedding at the venue and the evening guests arrived and literally took over the lounge making it impossible to talk as they were so loud around 60 people shouting at each other. It was our 57 years wedding anniversary and it was ruined by this we ate our food and took our bottle of wine upstairs to our bedroom. The hotel should be prepared if they hold weddings to keep the guests of the hotel separate from weddings guests so that a peaceful meal can be taken in the lovely ambience of the lounge or open the restaurant on a Sunday when weddings are taking place

Covid19 restrictions had been lifted but The Grand were still taking every care to stay safe and keep us safe - very reassuring. Reception were very helpful about parking when I rang them. Room was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Evening meal in the bar was delicious and very substantial. Bar staff very friendly and efficient.
Not having another night to stay

The location was excellent right on the beach
The tea bags and toilet roll seemed cheap and weren’t nice
The water was off for hours on Wednesday and we were not informed … compensation of some sort would have been appropriate or complimentary drink or something
The restaurants were open but the toilets wouldn’t flush!!

The hotel is on a perfect location and is kept to a excellent standard. The room we stayed in October had been refurbished to a high modern standard. The staff are really friendly and the beds super comfy. Would recommend and will stay again.

The hotel was very Covid aware. Plenty of sanitising stations and social distancing. The staff were great at making sure everyone felt safe whilst still giving a really personal experience.
