飲み物がサービスで飲み放題でした。
朝食は1000円追加で頂きましたが、美味しかったです。
ドミトリーなので分かってて泊まりましたが、同室の人が0時前にガサゴソし始めてなかなか寝れなかった。

We had a lovely stay at Bells Cabin. The owner couple is really sweet and caring and fetched us from the train station as we were stranded in a mile long taxi queue due to snow and ice disabling the trains and busses no longer running in the late evening. Thank you so much!
The breakfast was delicious and a very fair price. The common room were you can hang out and eat had a lit fireplace giving a very warm and cozy atmosphere. It smelled like Christmas morning as a child.
We will definitely comeback when we are visiting Karuizawa.

I had a top bunk, and the bed was so comfy! My room was clean, and the bathroom was so clean and nice. The provided shampoo and conditioner were quality stuff. The owners were absolutely lovely. There were only 3 items to order for breakfast, but I think that's because they want it to taste good. My grilled cheese was superb. I only stayed for 1 night, but I would definitely come back here in the future.
The location was a little further than I though it would be from the station (20 min walk with a rolling luggage), but it was worth the walk.

Atmosphere of the guesthouse, very nice to enjoy the lobby/living room space in the evening.
Workers were also super nice and helpful!
The bunk bed were creaking everytime I got to the top part, I was worried to wake up people in the room. maybe by attaching it somewhat to the wall that would have make it better? Otherwise pretty confortable

A budgeted, warm and welcoming stay. Recommended, especially for backpacker.
The host is very friendly and fluent in English. Feel grateful for his hardworking to keep the place chill, comfy and clean. I like the dining and resting area very much. The lighting, furnitures, decorations, music and books are perfect. You can enjoy a quiet time in the nature. The temperature and ventilation in the resting area is amazing in the hot summer in Aug. It felt like AC but it was actually breeze from the windows.
The signage at the parking slots (about 50 meters away) could have been made more prominent. Please consider there is no street lamps and it was completely dark at night.

The common space was comfortable and spacious. Thew owners were very kind and helpful.

Cozy atmosphere and homemade breakfast
Not really but I wish I could eat breakfast at the terrace. It didn’t seem to be cleaned.

My stay here was amazing. The dorm and bathroom are clean, there is a nice and spacious common room to eat and talk with other travellers, and the hostel is quiet.
The owners are so friendly! If you need any help, or have any question they will be happy to help you. Plus, they can speak good English!
Also, they serve very good breakfast, I totally recommend the cinnamons rolls with raisin, they are delicious!
Nothing!

The breakfast was very yummy. The location was good too :)
The room could use a few more facilities like tissues etc.

Delicious breakfast and cozy common area. Hosts were very friendly :)

The dining is start-of-arts HiFi.
Quite a distance. Should have advised traveler how to get to there by bus or rent a bike.

Breakfast was great. We liked the location - it was a short walk to the town where there were a lot of restaurants.
The bath was great also - especially after a long days walk.
loved the Jazz music paying in the foyer!

The host is perfectly friendly and the total setting and furnishings are so warm and tasteful. There is even a real fireplace!Perfect place to stay in Karuizawa in winter to watch the snow and enjoy quietness. The place is a little far from the station and can be dark on the road ——yet allow me a great chance to look at the amazing starry sky. hope I can get back in summer next time:)
I’m honest to say that you have to set your own bed linens but if you don’t mind it’s not a big deal(at least for me)

though it’s a bit far from the station, but the cabin is very comfy and the host is very kind & helpful
it’s hard to find restaurants nearby, especially on weekends. we have to make a reservation and the restaurants will not accept if you just walk in. we bought foods from nearby convenience store and eat at the cabin.

The host was friendly and welcoming. We went early to drop off our baggage and even though it wasn't opened yet, he came out to entertain us and kept it for us. When we returned to check in, he was very warm and offered us a hot welcome drink, which was something we needed in the cold weather. He was very clear with his explanation, and we felt happy to hang out at the lounge area for drinks after we settled in.
Bed was a little hard, and I would have preferred a softer bed.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the cafe area was very cute.

Owner very informative and understand English well. There are travel pamphlets in mutiple language. I am grateful to him for letting my curling team mates who did not stay there meet at lobby in the evening after a day long training.
Nice environment and Christmas decoration.
Bedroom is a bit cold for me in winter despite of having heater on. It is better in summer trip when there is no need to bring extra clothes.

The host was friendly
There is no way to cook your own meal (only microwave and hot water)

Bellscabin is very pretty and well situated. A nice walk from the station and also to Harunire Terrace, the hotsprings, stone church and nature walk. It is very clean, with comfortable beds and nice bathtub, and managed by the nicest couple who were very helpful in giving directions to places of interest. Highly recommended.
It could be a bit noisy when there are many guests at certain times of the day but is quiet at night.
