The room was barely a 3 star room. Not properly cleaned, the sink of the bathroom was in the room instead of the toilet and overall it was a very poor experience. The sheets were stained and they left us 2 small towels for a family of 4. Stay away from this hotel.
The room was dirty and service was poor.

the location is perfect.
our reservation had cancelled without the permission. Our arrival was late because of the airplane cancellation, but before the date I sent massage to the hotel about our late arrival. Finally I booked again at the local.

The staff were helpful and pleasant. The hotel has very convenient access to a mall, good bookstore, supermarket and cinema.

I'm a U.S. expat living in Playa del Carmen for 5 years. I was in Cancun for surgery and needed a hotel in close proximity to Hospital Amerimed and my doctor's office in Plaza Azuna. This was the perfect distance. As I was trying to preplan my stay, I had questions about parking, early check-in, and late check-out. I had numerous emails with the hotel floor manager, Carolina Estrada. I found her to be exceptionally helpful. Her replies were prompt and specific. I was very appreciative of her attention to detail. I kept the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door and hotel staff honored that request (I left a nice tip on because of that). One of the reasons I chose Fiesta Inn was because they had room service. I ordered food 3 times. Each time, it arrived very promptly, delivered by a friendly staff member, still warm (or cold in the case of the salads). The foods I ordered were the taquitos, enchiladas suiza, ceasar salad, citrus salad, and a cheeseburger. All of them were very tasty.
This is not a "hotel" issue per se, but a logistics issue. Finding the entrance to the hotel from the parking lot is very difficult. The parking lot is extremely large and maze-like. What if the Fiesta Inn had a special sign that was on the walls at the entrances and throughout the parking structure with arrows pointing in the direction of the entrances. Might help. That said, I also didn't realize that I could get dropped off outside Plaza Las Americas, at the Bonampak entrance by Liverpool, and enter the hotel there. That would also be helpful on the website. One last thing, the towels were a little bit old and not fluffy at all. Newer towels would be a nice touch.

I was there unexpectedly for a medical emergency and hotel was within walking distance to hospital
elevator had to be used with room key and one day got stuck in elevator due to room key not working

good location, near shopping mall, easy to find food
4.5 / 5.0
The location is unbeatable: it's right inside Plaza Las Americas, and just a 15 minute walk to the Malecon. The hotel was clean and the cleaning crew left my room shiny and spotless every day. The pool and the gym were fantastic. The water pressure was good and the temperature was perfect.
The room was old, showing some wear and tear. Also there was a day when the water was unavailable for a couple or hours. Other than that, I can't find any faults, really.

Very comfy beds, very clean, central location in downtown, the shopping centre next door and a lot of eating options nearby
We didn't had the best view on the 2nd floor (room 210), looking at the back side of a supermarket

They allowed late check out since I checked in late, so this was nice of them.
They called me in the morning just to ask if everything is okay. They woke me up early during my vacation for no particular reason. In addition, there was only one towel per person no towels for face.

Hotel was connected to the shopping mall which was great. But nothing special.
For the price we paid without breakfast, I will never go there again. Simply not worth it.

Spacious room, great WiFi, great breakfast and great location (on top of a mall so you can basically get anything you want downstairs).
No kettle to make hot water in the room

it was close to the city center
Santiago was super helpful and friendly. He assisted us more than any of the front desk staff. Even gave us his personal umbrella so we could go to dinner and not get caught in the rain. He even booked our taxi to the airport and even arranged a wake up call for us.

The hotel was clean and everything worked as expected. After some bad experiences in Tulum, it was really nice to stay here! Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome

I liked that the hotel was located literally above a shopping mall so you have everything within reach and since u have to use the elevator to get to your room only people with a guest key can use the elevator and it will only allow u to reach the floor your staying in so it is secure and safe

The bed was super comfortable with soft sheets and great pillows. Prepared morning coffee provided by the elevators was a nice touch. Location in the mall was super convenient.
The pool area and deck chairs were quite shabby. While overall the hotel staff were incredibly lovely, one young man at front desk seemed quite bothered the two times I had a question over the course of my 3 night stay.

The location is great, very close to important places to visit.
The room seem kind of small. The space between the bed, the sinks and bathroom was almost nothing.
