I strongly recommend to visit!

Very nice hotel with beautiful and clean rooms. Staff is really nice and helpful! Very good breakfasts in french style. Private parking is a nice addition. Close to port and beach, sensible distance to other locations in the city. Market place with fresh seafood is 1 min away! I strongly recommend this place.

Agréable séjour dans un hôtel de charme apaisant et accueillant.

Le personnel à l’écoute, très attentionné. Très beau jardin au calme. Le petit-déjeuner très varié et appétissant. La chambre joliment décorée et très bien insonorisée côté rue. Très belle baignoire/douche. Le parking payant sécurisé et facile d’accès.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'emplacement et le calme de l'hôtel.

Le manque d'informations sur les services de l'hôtel au moment du check-in et la désagréable réponse de la personne à l'accueil au moment du check out quand nous lui avons signalé la présence d'une bête dans la baignoire.

La gentillesse du personnel, l'emplacement, le confort de la chambre et de la literie. La propreté. La petite bouteille d'eau fraîche à l'arrivée.

Vraiment dommage pour un 4 étoiles que nous avons été réveillés par la lumière du jour, il y avait pourtant des rideaux très épais mais la lumière passe au dessus. La pomme de douche est fin de vie, l'eau ne coulait pas correctement, compliqué pour se rincer les cheveux (surtout pour les cheveux longs)

Woukd not recommend this hotel as being anywhere near the standard expected of a 4 star hote.

The bedroom we stayed in was well overdue for a make-over and in our opinion was well below the standard we expect from a 4 star hotel. We wonder how carefully the hotel Inspectors visit and really check the hotels before awarding such a high rating. We have stayed at many French hotels with many less stars which were much better appointed.

The location was good.

Our room smelt of sewage, when we told the staff about this problem they told us they knew about this problem and it was always like this!! They didn't apologise or offer to move us to a new room. We ended up staying for a third night in Pornichet and moved to the Ibis as for nearly €200/night I expect a room that does not smell of sewage!

Elegance of hotel, if slightly faded - part of its charm. Garden was tranquil and relaxing.

The louvre door on the toilette could have been a bit more substantial.

Fantastic hotel!

The rooms and the service in general is fantastic! It is a family owned hotel. All rooms have a different theme and are well designed.

I like this hotel in general. You will often see the onwers around.

Lovely. Would happily stay again.

Great location for a work trip to St Nazaire, recommended to me by a customer as only 20 minutes out of town. Quiet spot (at least in October). A couple of blocks back from the beach so no view of the sea, but the room had a large balcony overlooking the Japanese style garden which was lovely. Very boutiquey decor, some time and money has gone into giving it a lovely cosy feel throughout. High quality restaurant, with prices to match. On second night after a run along the beachfront I felt like pizza rather than more high end food, and there was a really good pizza place 2 doors down from the hotel. Good sized private car park. Very friendly staff. Didn’t unfortunately get the chance to check out the spa / pool / hot tub

No hot food option at breakfast. I like to start the day with an omelette…. Breakfast buffet was ok, but I do miss the days when in France you used to get proper sized croissants in hotels rather then the mini ones…

A perfect location for our stay but considering the cost would prefer a more modern up to date hotel

The Location

Some of the decor in the hotel (woodwork) was chipped and scraped. The Windows in the bedroom were screwed shut so ventilation was poor. Although we did not need it there was no air conditioning which in the summer months is likely to be a problem. The sound proofing was very poor as we could hear the TVs and talking from other rooms.

Friendly staff. Close to beach. Comfortable bed

No real door to toilet, meaning no privacy. Odd choice as there is space for a door, but the hotel chose to put a simple “beach door”. The hotel told us we had ordered the cheapest category of rooms, and that’s how they’re designed. Not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. Rooms are poorly isolated as well.

Back for the 5th time

We love coming back to this charming family run hotel. Each room is different, their garden is beautiful. The staff never gets tired of explaining everything (turtles, french snooker and what to do in Pornichet). Thank you and we’re definitely coming back.

Too expensive- for the room-had to pay for the parking-which was very unusual- no door on bathroom- should not have go rid of the pool- restaurant too expensive as well
