Beautiful location, friendly staff and a peaceful break

The location is fantastic.. lake view means exactly that. It’s so quiet and peaceful and if you’re travelling with kids there’s certainly enough to keep them entertained. The cabin was spotless and had a really good layout. Perfect for a couple who likes some space to move around in or for anyone travelling with a family

I honestly couldn’t think of anything.. we’ll definitely be staying here again next time we come through

Short and comfy.

Pet friendly Kids liked that we all slept together in the same big open room!! Playground awesome and wish we knew about the heated pool, would have bought the swimmers. Next time!

Too far from the water and close to awful old bus homes. Would prefer a newer room for us and our clean doggie close to the water Next time we stay longer

Family friendly and location is central for visiting towns / Monash playground.

Great location and trip for the family. Loved our little cottage by the playground and pool views. Very nicely set up and beautiful place to visit. Clean, homely and functional.

Disappointing

We liked the water park and pool. Staff wear lovely and an added bonus as the river was rising so power would be cut they gave free icecreams to the kids and free alcohol to the adults.

*It took over 24hrs to get more towels which they didn't supply enough in the first place. *The room was not clean the window seals had spider webs over them and spiders. *They cut power to the games room and water playground and locked them on a Saturday without any warning to people staying. *Wifi didn't work or contact to the tv.

We had a wonderful time

The facilities are close by, very tidy and clean.

The first pool near the water park isn't heated and that means the second pool is very busy. And our cabin was very smelly. Like an old smell. It was clean though just very smelly.

Overall it was a nice stay and the kids had a good time.

we got moved to a standard cabin when our initial economy cabins door wouldn’t lock. The standard cabin was definitely better but really needed some maintenance and renovations.

Floors dirty, bathroom dirty ( spots on the door and walls that could need a good scrub and a paint job) Ants crawling around in the kitchen. Lack of equipment in the kitchen. Very basic! Dirty outside area- not swept! Cigarets buts and litter on the ground! outside light next to table and bench not working. Very dark at night when we wanted to sit outside.

Lovely spot, disappointed with service

Liked the facilities very spacious and clean

As a family of six and wet days, we stayed 3 nights and weren't offered a change of towels, when I asked for some we reluctantly got 4. I asked the office for cash out/ coins for the laundry and was told no, go to the nearest General store. Super inconvenient!!

Peace with a view.

Great view, and a great little gem here in the quiet town of Barmera! Great for kids too, with plenty of options with the playground, water park, and two pools to choose from. Such a peaceful place to stay!

The TV was very small, but not sure we needed it for a relaxing and wind down kind of a holiday.

Fantastic location right by the lake. Park has great facilities for the kids.

Bed in the main bedroom was a bit soft for my liking and woke up with a sore back. Had to spend the second night in with the kids. Lounge suite could be a bit bigger as it only sat 3 people.

Weather was very cold & there was not enough warmth in the doona so had to pull the spare beds apart to use the Donna's from them.
