Ordentliches Hotel in guter Lage, aber sehr schlechtes und teures Frühstücksangebot !!

Sehr freundliches Personal!!

Das Frühstück war "grottenschlecht" (insbesondere das Essensangebot und ebenso der Kaffee) und für die miese Qualität viel zu teuer !!

Gut gelegenes Hotel mit kleinen Schwächen

Die Lage des Hotel ist sehr gut, wenn man mit der Bahn anreist, da es direkt am Hauptbahnhof liegt. In die Innenstadt gelangt man sehr gut mit diversen Bus- und Bahn-Linien. Zusätzlich ist auch eine kostenlose Fahrkarte für den ÖPNV in Darmstadt dabei, die auch komplett für den Anreise- als auch Abreisetag gilt. Das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich, auch wenn man an der Rezeption teilweise etwas warten musste, weil sie etwas unterbesetzt war.

Leider war das Frühstück nicht sehr gut. Es gab wenig Auswahl und der Kaffee war leider schrecklich. Kann nur empfehlen für das Geld lieber extern in der Stadt zu frühstücken wenn möglich. Auch war es im Zimmer etwas zu laut, weil die Lüftung der Klimaanlage nicht abgeschaltet werden konnte. Für empfindliche Personen empfehle ich definitiv Ohrstöpsel.

I arrived at the hotel and was informed the hotel had a fire and it's not operational, they transfer me to Holiday Inn Express, I told them I had a reservation for superior room and already paid for it. I expect my room in Holiday Inn will be a superior room. They assured me that would be the case, however when we arrived at Holiday Inn they refused to give me a better room, I went back to Intercity Hotel Twice, every time they assure me they will correct this, but nothing happened. I paid for superior room, and stayed in a regular room for three days. I demand Booking will take appropriate actions to correct this and reimburse me for my lost.

air conditioner was always on… that’s amazing in summer! cleanness of room.

door keys had problems and had to go back to reception to change it. pillow was not ergonomic.

Location.

Location, I always pick hotels on location of what I need to do.. English TV Chanels, Good Size Bathroom, Good water pressure in shower.

Was there on a Winter's day, Hotel room was red hot, Air cond not working at all, Front desk did all they could at 330am but all rooms the same. The windows had locks on so was not able to open no Coffee / Tea station in a Business class room come on guys. Fix these. 1. Air Conditioning <--- Get an Aussie over they will fix it.. 2. Allow the windows to be open, like all other german hotels. <-- or see point one 3. Coffee and Tea making in the room <- come its 2023 not 1923 4. The beds are old fashioned get some pillow tops then you call this room a business class room. 5 18 Euro parking come on... but 3 euro parking not far is okay if you are male , Hate to do that carpark as a woman at 3am.. Fix those and not bad hotel..

It’s modern and clean plus next to station

Heating not working so they brought a small heater unit Shower gel empty so asked for new one Didn’t get replaced so had to ask again Free ticket for travel is no longer for all, so booking.com need to amend that on website

There could have been some toiletries offered such as moisturiser. definitely not a must have but would be a great.

Pleasant

close to the station and quiet

came back on the Saturday at 10.15 and was told the bar was shut and if we wanted to have a drink we would need to go elsewhere, not very good for a hotel .

Nice Cozy and quite

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was very good, right next to the central station and connections to city center and sights. The room was quite and cozy. Good value for money specially with the city tickets so you can roam around freely.

The pillows were not very comfortable, more pillows should be there as they were very flat and low. There was no kettle for making coffee or tea in the business room we stayed, it was available in Superior Room. This actually was also mentioned in the room description but seems like a very basic facility to be available for business room. Although the staff was kind enough to provide hot water at the bar.
