Location and comfort. Beautiful place!

Wonderful cozy place to relax. What I liked the most was the swimming pool area surrounded by beautiful olive trees, with comfortable mattresses, hammocks and absolute silence. Beautifully located near hiking trails, overlooking the mountains. Nice breakfast.
We didn't have a chance to try hotel restaurant.

The place is very beautiful but we stayed only overnight and you need more time to appreciate the surroundings.
The cooking lesson was very disappointing especially taking into account the very high price.

the room was lovely! the possibility of há a full wall-window and see the stars at night was amazing!
nothing relevant.

A wonderful place, in the peace and quiet of a natural park.
A great property with a lot of attention to details.
It was quiet, welcoming, discreet, and friendly.
We stayed there for two days for our 30th wedding anniversary, and even though it was raining all the time, the inside pools and the cosy furniture made this stay very pleasant.
The wonderful staff who greeted us and cooked for us were always smiling.
I can just recommend this beautiful getaway.

The location was super cool and the staff were very helpful.
The breakfast was basic good, it could have offer more regional products, unfortunately wasn't the case.
The dinner was super disappointing and very pricey for that quality.

Bathroom facilities had some leaks although the hotel employees were very helpful when we mentioned

Very cosy and welcoming hotel in middle of nature. Perfect to relax, go hiking/biking.
Each room has a owne theme. Definitely a hotel you need to Stay in Portugal.
Great breakfast and free parking in front of hotel. Rental car highly needed ☺️

I liked the location and the concept; the pool is beautiful and land is nice.
The building has nothing natural about it internally; fake concrete, cheap furniture, nothing feels natural or real and it all seems very kitschy and fake. They also don’t have enough room to feed all the guests in the restaurant which I found super weird..

Terrific property in a very idyllic location! Beautiful interior design, very friendly staff, and a superb spa area. The dinner was also super tasty. Great recommendations for things to do in the local area.

The hotel has nice design details and the room, although basic, was comfortable and nice.
Breakfast was very tasty, thanks to the quality of the products offered, but for a "Cooking" hotel we expected something more elaborate, than products from a box.
The Banho D'aires was a very relaxing experience and as there was no one else in the hotel, the team kindly let us stay a bit longer... This was really the most significant aspect of our stay.
For a hotel that was so highlighted by the travel media some years ago, we expected a much, much more interesting experience. Because what we had was really very basic and disappointing!
Value for money is always a very subjective topic, and without questioning the commitment of the team, it felt totally disproportional to the service offered.
The materials used in the room are mostly cheap materials...our room was mainly made of MDF. Some forced elements reminiscent of the movie "Eat Pray Love" just don't work. They don't fit in the atmosphere of the hotel, offer no purpose and look decayed. Especially the luminous panel over the bed, somewhat similar to the entrance to a beauty salon and the small decorative elements of the goddess Lakshmi.
There are no accessible sockets at the head of the bed and the shower also at the head of the bed, besides the lack of privacy, was not comfortable at all. A stool was needed to gain access to the bath and it was impossible to relax in the bed if the shower was in use.
The vinyl lined pool should be refurbished. This kind of material does not look good.
The dinner was tasty, but very expensive considering what is offered. Firstly because one would expect something more interesting and surprising from a hotel with a "Cooking" concept, and secondly because the portions were really very small for the amount charged. The meal offered 3 small dishes to share (all the size of small starters without any side dish) that costs €50 for 2 persons. Desserts and drinks are not included, so at the end we paid the equivalent to a full meal in a 4 or 5 star hotel, and without any service. If you insist on eating here, we suggest the pumpkin cream, the only thing that was creative.
In conclusion, the overall concept has a lot of potential, but perhaps it's time to move away from bedrooms with clichéd themes and invest in something truly inspiring and differentiating.

Accommodating staff and management. Offered a refund for the last night, when I had to leave early for personal reasons.

Breakfast buffet is excellent, dinner even better with their cooking experience. Chef Patricia is very talented and fun to cook with. All employees (all of them women, btw) are extra nice and eager to please. Will

The hotel was nice maybe in 2013 but it looks like there was no updates ever since. The decoration is very strange to say the least

The location is good, the garden and pool area are amazing, the view from the room is stunning.
Staff was nice and polite but a bit confusing when giving us the informations about how things worked. Rooms are comfortable, but not incredible for the price.
