Quick Response from the Host.
No proper itinerary, unhygienic, very compact

Air conditioning was exceptional. Room was clean. Very comfortable. Receptionist was very friendly.
Shabat means accessing the location for the first time on a Saturday evening is limited. I had no way of contacting the receptionist. This is their culture though, so expect it and accept it.

nothing.the hotel needs closing down yep its that bad.booking.com should do the right thing and remove this hotel from their list.we talked to a few locals and they knew about its bad reputation. i gave it a score of 1 only because the rating didnt go any lower
mould on the matress and curtains and the smell of damp. the receptionist only worked from 11am until 8pm when we asked for another room he argued with us and then walk out and wouldnt talk to us.didnt dare lock the outside door because he wouldnt give us the code so if the door was locked we would be outside all night.one women did get locked out her room but there was no one at reception to help her and no one answered the phone no we rang.also we was in the basement with bars on the window and no smoke alarm

Great location, a short walk to the beach.
First thing first, this is not a hotel, it's an apartment in an old apartment building that was split into small rooms. As others have said, there is nobody at reception to talk to. There was a water shutoff overnight that was not communicated to guests, and there is no hot water in the shower. While the room was clean, those things are deal-breakers. Even for the frugal traveller, this comes across like a scam.

Room was OK. Location was good, close to most things I needed.
I would have preferred daily cleaning as opposed to the available alternate days.

Location
There wasn't anyone in the reception to speak with. The room smelled bad, there was humidity, and the bathroom was filthy.
We had a reservation for another night. However, we decided to cancel it and find another place.

not much
the room was not the room that was on booking, it was a smaller room, very dirty, smell of sewage, there was a dead cockroach in the bathroom cabinet, the balcony was all broken and full of insects.
the guy came and put us outside the door, gave us the key and got away quickly, no where to be seen since then.
we went away from there for one night out of the three nights we paid for, and when we came back someone else already got our room, we left things in the room and in the fridge and it wasn’t there anymore.

Great location, friendly staff. 👌 It'll do!!
There were someone's sweaty socks and T-shirt in the wardrobe. 😃 Quite shabby.

After reading negative reviews we were pleasantly surprised by how nice our room with balcony was. Lucky as due to some heavy rain we spent more time in the room than anticipated. Single, basement rooms would not be as appealing I guess. Receptionist ( not the owner ) was very helpful even lending us a corkscrew and two wine glasses. Location only 5 minute walk to the beach. Good value for money in Tel Aviv.
Tel Aviv is currently building a light railway ( tram ) system so many of the streets around the hotel are being dug up. Not a problem though as you can still get around easily.

Very clean, cozy, good location. Very nice staff
5.0 / 10.0
It is relatively speaking close to the beaches. You can get to Cramel market and other sights with a short walk.
The walls and chairs were dirty. We found hair in the bedsheets, when we just arrived. The window was really small and opened into an alley, so you could not really get much fresh air into the room (because of this, it was dark as well). One night we got back to the room, and there was a huge cockroach in there. Most of the time there was no hot water.

The room was very good and comfortable, super close to everything
the previos tenants smoked in the room and it didnt ventilate properly. but other than that it was a super place...

cockroaches were walking all over the room

Location and staff were pretty good.
There were quite a few cockroaches, and the 'clean' towels had long dark hairs on them from previous users.
4.0 / 10.0
The room was fairly clean. There were enough soap and towels.
My passport was copied and the copy left on the desk with no one at the desk. The room is in an old dumpy apartment building in very poor condition. The shower did not have hot water. There was a Nespresso coffee maker but dirty and no coffee and no cup. The entrance to my room was not near the main entry where there were some paper cups. There is only someone at the desk limited hours and I had to leave a note with the key when I checked out. Not a hotel. It's rooms in a mixed use building. No elevator if you need one.
