The location was good but I think that transport for luggage should be provided from the station to the hotel. It was stated that cars were not allowed but we saw many cars driving up and down? The view from our balcony was great
It stated that there were tea and coffee facilities in the room, but there were no tea making facilities. A free evening aperitif was included in our stay but we were not given any details about this and were not offered anything on our first evening. lt was only when we enquired the following evening that we were given a drink! There was no information or map given to us about routes for walks or restaurants and we had to find out about everything ourselves. Breakfast was not included , but, at 35 euros extra per person we declined and went elsewhere. The sound proofing was awful, and it sounded as though we had a heard of elephants in the room above us! it was a very expensive stay and we will not be returning. Certainly not worth the money

The location is fabulous. We had a two night stay in the penthouse (room 58) which has a fabulous terrace with a view over Manorola towards the sea. The accommodation was clean & comfortable. The staff were welcoming & helpful.
Breakfast on the hotel terrace was delicious.
At 1,000 euros per night we felt it was overpriced and not good value for money.
The sofa on the terrace collapsed when we sat on it, the metal frame buckled.
The WC door handle pulled off, the screws needed tightening. I would have expected a higher quality of furnishings & fixtures.
Breakfast, which was an extra 35 euros per person, should be included in the room rate.

staff is amazing and location is stunning.
air conditioning was weak, and it was hard to sleep if you like it cold.

Bathtub on the balcony was an absolute treat! I would highly recommend this lodge. The staff was very attentive and responsive, will definitely be back!

fantastic view and accommodations
food is not up to standard, ie breakfast is relatively poor quality (even the cappuccino…)

Hotels are limited in Cinque Terre and with space at a premium facilities are going to be limited. This is a group of old houses put together. It was all done very nicely and a nice breakfast drinks area in the summer.
Great location at the centre of the town and secure parking available by prior arrangement.
I would have liked fresh towels and the bed turned down for the price.

Staff was incredible and welcoming, plus the view was delightful especially when we enjoyed it from the hot tub. It was very spacious and we received wine and champagne with a cheeseboard upon arrival. Highly recommend. Worth the price.
Nothing!

1) can’t sleep as the tower bell next to the lodge chimes loudly every 30 from 6am.
2) walk up to the lodge with your luggage is not easy from the train station.

Awesome location: in the heart of the Cinque Terre; it allowed us to wander in the streets early in the morning or late in the evening, outside of the crowded rush hours.
Great staff: very kind and helpful.
Amazing view and terrasse.
(applies to all the following) Manarola is a tiny village, and the rooms are located in some historic buildings, which I expect comes with a lot of contraints. Additionally, the hotel is a small boutique hotel. So all the following points are not really complaints (in the sense that we expected them), but points you may find a bit surprising for a 1000$ / night room:
The sound isolation is extremely poor; we could hear everything from the room above or even the street (and also all the sounds from the bathroom could be heard in the room).
Beware that coming by car may be a challenge: we were lucky that when we arrived there were 2 parking spots remaining in the public parking; but 5 minutes later it was full...
We also had a couple of problems in the room (e.g. we didn't have hot water twice), that the staff has been extremely prompt to fix. The staff told us we were the first guests in this room after renovation, so hopefully those issues will be fixed.
The breakfast isn't included in the price. It's good, but at 35 euros we found it a little bit pricey (for less than half the price we've had amazing breakfasts in a nearby bar).

Loved the property, the view and the staff. Highly recommended.
Beware, take your overnight bag; do not take large luggage. Like anywhere else in Cinque Terre.

The carpet in the room was very stained. The bathroom was small and the room layout was inefficient. The sink wobbles.
The view was nice. The breakfast was great. The common areas were very good.
