We booked a suite with 2 bedrooms for our family of 4. It was very comfortable as it comes with 2 separate bathrooms. We enjoyed using the club access for breakfast and pre-dinner drinks and eat.

The room was spacious and had a lovely bathroom. The location is excellent for sightseeing and shopping.
The front desk staff although very friendly and helpful tried to speak English but most of them relied on their phone to translate, which didn’t always communicate well! I have stayed in many Chinese hotels and all of the front desk staff have been able to speak basic English at least. I was shocked that at the Grand Hyatt a hotel that has a superior reputation and price tag that their front desk didn’t speak English well enough to communicate without having to translate on their phones. Also the bedding in my room when I arrived was still damp around the edges which I had to dry off with a hair dryer.

very central, beautiful and comfortable room
staff barely spoke English, making basic communication difficult outside of peak hours—recommend training

Great location, walking distance to many popular destinations. Facilities were good and well kept.
Way too many young staff, many looks like interns or high-school kids. Doesn't quite know what they are doing. Very little senior staff around, especially night time.

Well maintained. The apartment in which we stayed was perfect for a family.
At the time we were staying there, the pool was being refurbished.
Having stayed in other for-star hotels, we found the breakfast underwhelming.

Staff at reception and in lobby were super friendly and super helpful. TOP !
Taxis only take cash and I did not have cash to go to the airport. The reception should be able to book the taxi and add to the bill.

staff was very helpful
the rooms we stayed in were really poorly ventilated and it was so bad we had to change our room twice. we were given an air purifier but that did not work. There was a musky smell in the rooms.

nice and comfortable, clean and the buffet breakfast/lunch are amazing! authentic Italian food!
the first night we slept there it was so hot and none of us were able to sleep. the AC didn’t work and we had to request a room exchange.

We loved the pool:) it was great to chill there and have some fun after a day walking on the Great Wall or other sight seeing.
We had a room with lounge facilities. The happy hour from 5.30 till 7.30pm was great. However, as a family, we felt the food options could have been more varied.

It’s right next to the forbidden city and Tiananmen Square. There are also great shopping centers nearby. I enjoyed the view from my room. Staff was also very helpful. Concierge helped me order tickets to the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. They also helped me set up and address on Meituan :) (Basically Uberears or grub hub for American travelers)
The breakfast wasn’t that good, but it was convenient. I had club access, but I think the complimentary tea time would benefit for more refreshments like milk, water and tea.

The room had good facilities
The staff were very helpful and spoke English

The breakfast queue could be busy- but you were forewarned.

Lobby bar is great for relaxing drinks, and the lobby bar staff are warm and helpful. Love the location, pool/gym and Made in China restaurant. Overall, the facilities and ambiance makes it a great stay.
Pillows can be better. The rooms are smaller than other Beijing hotels I’ve been at so far, but the room was perfect for solo business traveller. The shower door seal leaks, so the bathroom gets quite wet after a shower. No Hyatt points for booking.com reservation which I wasn’t aware of, and quite taken aback by...
