Second floor, renovated beachfront condo with a balcony and
breathtaking view of the ocean. It overlooks the main pool and children's
pool. You can either take one of two elevators one floor down or
just one flight of steps and walk right onto the pool area AND THEN
ANOTHER SHORT 20 STEPS ONTO THE BEACH AND OCEAN.
The master bedroom has a KING bed and remodeled master-bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a pillow-top mattress and shares a bath with the third bedroom, which two singles. There are also two roll-out cots available.
The remodeled kitchen boasts granite counters and top-quality appliances. The remodeled bathrooms have lovely new tile, tub and fixtures.
The 3 bedrooms have new bamboo hardwood flooring with area rugs.
The living area has commercial grade vinyl soft-step floors.
The 'Island/Caribbean' décor is different and charming.

This was our second time staying at Sea Colony (different units and landlords each time). Compared to last year, this year's check in was smooth and went well. The unit had an updated kitchen and we really liked the layout. Throughout the reservation process, the owners were responsive when my mother emailed questions. They were also very responsive when I had a couple concerns. The coffee pot had moldy coffee grounds left in the pot and it was hard to use on the k-cup side. For renting towels, I wasn't impressed with the quality and overall cleanliness could have been better. She was very responsive to my concerns and I know they do not have control over the towels the company uses. I would suggest having a broom there as that would be easier to sweep up the sand vs a vacuum. None of these issues affected our stay and we still had a fabulous time.

The location of this property was perfect - you have a great view of the ocean from the balcony and the main bedroom. It's an easy walk to Bethany "downtown" either along the beach or through the neighborhood next door - about a mile. The space is set up well with plenty of bedrooms and 2 bathrooms allowing for a large family to stay. The common area is well designed too.
My struggles with this stay were mostly around clarity within the listing and provided for our check-in/out:
- No sheets/towels are provided, and that is written in fine print in the listing. That adds up to a lot of extra things to bring, and I have stayed in countless rentals throughout the world, and this was a first.
- They charge a "cleaning fee" which is fine, but then your check out directions advise that the cleaners only "disinfect/check for damage." That's not the same thing and I always leave places neat but I shouldn't be expected to vacuum prior to departure. That's what a cleaning fee is for.
- The listing shows a checkout time of 10 am, but upon receiving our access instructions it says check out is 9:30! That's early, *especially* if you expect people to clean.
- Check in instructions were two full pages printed of ALL CAPS TEXT making it incredibly difficult to read and parse out what you needed to know. We were also there in the "off-season", which had different rules. The host would be well served to use different instructions based on season, a bulleted list, and limit to essentials.

The place was great and except the cleanliness. All of the furniture had a thick layer of dust. This was a real turnoff. The owner expects the renter to leave the place move in ready? Unfortunately this was not the case. I resent having to pay a cleaning fee and being expected to throughly clean the place. The listing stated that the cleaning people only come in to take inventory and sanitize?? If additional cleaning is needed, the renter would be charged. I always leave rentals clean but do not expect to have to dust and mop.The listing stated that there were minimal cleaning supplies. I was surprised that dishwasher pods, laundry detergent and sponge were not provided. When renting for a weekend, i would think that these basic supplies would be provided. The dining room tablecloth was dirty so we had to purchase laundry detergent to wash it.

The condo was a great size to accommodate the 6 of us! Location was wonderful! We frequent Sea Colony but this was the first time for us staying in the high rises and it was lovely. The view was amazing!
The condo is well cared for, updated, comfortable and stocked! Everything about it was perfect for our stay! Hosts were quick to respond to inquiries and the thorough communication and details made everything SO easy! We would definitely consider re-visiting renting with these hosts! Thank you :)

The property manager was helpful. As usual Sea Colony never disappoints! The condo was clean and felt like a home away from hone.

Location is great, Bethany Beach off season is still fun. Luckily the annual hvac maintenance took place during our stay the air filter was so dirty my entire family was sneezing and coughing. Coffee maker did not work and no children’s play room as advertised. Was told to bring Ben linen and beach towels but not bathing towels so we did not have any. Several light bulbs out as well made it dark. Couch was NOT comfortable at all. Bed were either too hard or too soft.

The view couldn’t have been any better. Seeing the ocean from the balcony was awesome. Convenient location for restaurants, stores etc.
I was surprised by the $60 fee to get our badges and parking permit. The condo could have been a bit cleaner but we realize the owner isn’t the one cleaning. We also advised them there were no kitchen towels as listed.

We had a wonderful vacation at this Beautiful Condo in Sea Colony. The owners Bill and Donna are awesome, always very accommodating whenever we had questions. This vacation home is beautiful, very warm and inviting, very clean, decorated beautifully. There was everything you needed for your home away from home. The location is perfect, oceanfront, breathtaking views of the sand and surf. We had the remnants of Hurrican Ian, with the rain and wind, but we were very comfortable, we still had a great time! The rooms are very nice, plenty of room for everything, plenty of closet space, and many other ammenities, such as full kitchen, two full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. Very comfortable king size bed in the master bedroom and very nice furniture to store your belongings. Overall, a beautiful place that we would love to vacation again, hopefully next year. The condo was well equipped with everything needed to cook meals in. The view was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the sunrise over the Atlantic and watching the dolphins every morning. The beach was great!

Can’t beat the location. My son (almost 5) and daughter (7) had a great time going to the beach and pool everyday. The condo is perfect for a week stay. It was clean and had everything we needed. Property owner was very responsive to all of our questions.

Wet Wonderful Wedding
We stayed for (2) weeks for my sons wedding. The weather was uncharacteristically cold and wet but we were able to enjoy the views and the indoor pools at Sea Colony. The condo was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The only issue I would mention is the shower in the guest bath. There are no grab bars and the shower floor could get slippery.

We had a wonderful (though a bit chillier than we hoped) stay in Sea Colony! The check in was seamless and communication with Bill for two minor issues was quick and easy. The view from this condo is to die for. We loved the beach and pools too. Definitely plan to return.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Second time visiting Sea Colony and this one did not disappoint! Adorable condo perfect for the two adults staying there. Comfortable. Clean. No issues whatsoever. Off season, so we didn’t do much but walk on the beach and watch a lot of tv, but that was ok!

This condo is a lovely space with a fireplace to spend a few quiet days over the winter holidays. With a beautiful view of the ocean, an easy walk to the beach, and a stocked kitchen, it was a wonderful spot for us to spend time together as a family.
