Great location, interesting building, nice spaceous rooms, very clean,, friendly staff
The single beds were on each side of the room ;-)
Drinks are from a vending machine, which is coin operated. Luckily I was able to change at the desk, but normally you can't.

Nice room with superb views over Trier. Helpful man at reception. Very pleasant lady looked after us really well at breakfast and made us feel welcome.
Nothing. All was good.

It was very clean, comfortable and had everything you need. The staff were very pleasant and helpful - letting us park motorbikes securely close to the hotel. There was a wedding reception being hosted but the noise did not disturb us.
The single rooms lived up to the former use as a Monastery, in that they were small and basic for £80/ni

The whole experience from end to finish was horrible. Stood from Friday to Sunday paid 240€. I did not had warm water for my entire stay. In the first room the shower was overflowing. We got a room upgrade and in the second room we had cockroaches in the bathroom. The wifi was not working for the entire period. When we went to the reception to explain the entire situation and the situation got even worse. The receptionist was so rude:
1. When we told about the wifi she got angry and said ‘oh i don t understand why is always the young people and not the old complaining about the wifi’
2. When we told about the cockroach she was so pissed and did not understood why we minded it she said that is not dangerous and not doing anything if it was in the shower OR KITCHEN
3. She said it was a problem with the water and now is fixed, but that was for no use for us cause we were already checking out!
Her attitude was so arrogant and was so extremely rude. The worst place i don’t recommend!!
When we asked if she would pay 240€ for a place with cold water, no wifi and insects she avoided to answer

Views to city magnificent, quiet rooms, classical surroundings, ok breakfast. If a bit remote location doesn’t bother you, this a place to stay.

Shocking!!! We were the only guests att the hotel.
When we arrived at the hotel around 20:30, nobody were there. We walked around the hotel, it was dark everywhere. No lights inside the hotel. The hotel looked like abandance place. The hotel didnt inform us or booking.com that they left the key at the unattanded reception area. We saw 2 foreigner workers who didnt speak German/English. They are doing some installation at the hotel. I called booking.com & explained about the situation but couldn’t shorted the problem out. We were the only guests who stayed at the hotel that night. We didnt feel safe at all. I told the staff at booking.com that we didt feel safe & comfortable that night. We have a 15 years daughter with us who didnt feel safe att all. The location is far away from other buildings. So scarry!!! The hotel could communicate with booking.com that we are the only guests & there will be no staff at the hotel at that evening. We stayed on the top floor & we made sure that the door were locked properly. We paid EUR 170/night. It was not worth it att all. Why did the hotel let us stayed alone that night??? Not a single staff. No other guests hotel. It was very bad experience. Imagine if there was a women who will stay alone without anyone? Didnt they think about the security? The hotel was being unresponsible towards the guests.
We understood that August is a summer holiday in Germany & it is during pandemic. Why didnt they close during summer holiday instead of let the guests stayed there & were having nightmare? Please be careful for other people who plan to stay at this hotel. Make sure that you are not alone in that hotel/building. Booking.com should not consider to list this hotel at booking.com page. Hopefully, our nightmare that night WILL NOT happen again to other guest.
Why did the hotel let us stay that night alone without staff and other guests. So scarry.

The furniture in the room was really simple and compact but effective and with a style of it's own; everything needed was there. The hotel breaths the atmosphere of a sort of former convent. It was a very different but positive experience compared to the average hotel. Upon request I got a room with a view of the Mosel river.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
Wifi actually works well in the room I was in too and not just near the reception as was communicated
Nothing really
