This is a gorgeous location in the rainforest. Don't expect fancy.
For people who love nature, this is an exceptional property. There is a pretty swimming pool and a nice open dining area. Room was clean and staff very helpful at all times. There are a couple of good cafes in Cape Tribulation, an easy walk away also. Many interesting and fun tour options.
A bit limited in choices of food options, but food itself is fine. There is a convenience store in the Cape Trib village where you can buy some fresh fruit/veg among other things.

Amazing location surrounded by the rain forest. Restaurant a bit prcey but food was very nice. Backpacker staff were very friendly. No TV in room was welcome. Close to everything in Cape Tribulation.

Location was great and having the restaurant on site was very good and practical.
Accommodation was a bit run down and toilet wasn’t very clean.

The mini bar fridge is inadequate. The lack of anything other than the absolute essentials was very disappointing , especially given the remoteness and lack of options to buy anything. There were 3 te cups, 3 water glasses 3 tea spoons. Nothing more. No bottle openers… nothing. If you’re staying here come prepared, but a visit to Myall Beach will cheer you up… heaven on beach 💖🌴☀️
4.5
amazing location and setting, spacious rooms, lush pool and great food at the restaurant
pillows were a bit squishy for my tastes but that’s the only thing I could find fault with
2.5
the food on the restaurant. staff were amazing
the room was mouldy and gross.
4.5
The outstanding location, the restaurant and the incredible swimming pool. The king size bed.
The car parking was good for smaller vehicles and the room could have some extra towel hooks.
3.5
Location and lodge was amazing. Sleeping in the Bush.
With the restaurant being closed and all other coffee shops and cafés closeby also closed, it would have been Nice to have some MORE kitchen facilities in the room

The staff was absolutely lovely, very accommodating. The location is in a beautiful rainforest, so as long as you are prepared to not have wi fi and get off your mobile - its a perfect getaway.
I had no hot water whatsoever. The water from hot water tap was of a room temperature. Did advise the girl at the reception but unsure if any action was taken as she hardly reacted to my complaint.

The location of the property is very convenient. we really loved the big room and comfy beds. It’s an exceptional feeling to wake up right in the middle of the rainforest.
If I should point out something then maybe only thing is that we couldn’t find any yellow bins (only red bind close to our cottage).
3.5
The restaurant was very nice. We had pizza and it was really tasty.
The garden loft house was a bit tired and the space under the bed was very dirty. There were no curtains on the mezzanine level which meant my son had no privacy at all.

interesting location. helpful reception sorted out crocodile trip. Great communication beforehand about booking grips and restaurant.
One curtain was missing leaving a gap over the room patio doors. Only one teaspoon. The restaurant was inadequately staffed and we were shown to an uncleared table with un-wiped spills. No ice bucket sufficient to keep white wine cool even after requesting.
4.5
Amazing location and beautiful lush setting. Loved the pool and restaurant area. Room was very airy and clean. Bed was very comfy and the aircon and fan worked well.
I think the room just lacked a few finishing touches. No utensils (tea/coffee and mugs were there, but no spoons). Walls are bare and could use a picture or two. No bedside tables.

Location and beautiful gardens!
They need to take care of their cane toad population. They are everywhere and bad for the environment. Seems like there’s been no attempt to control the numbers.
The room was a bit dusty and towels were stained, but they were changed as soon as we let them know!
