Having such a lovely, well appointed home made our holiday perfect!

This is a perfect getaway spot for a group! Lara is the most amazing host and Summer (the resident princess dog) is just a wee gem! The home itself is very well appointed with absolutely everything you need! We had adult kids join us and it was just perfect! The pool is such a bonus and was well used on our stay! The huge yard, outdoor areas, seating and pool hut were fab, the private beach was the icing on the cake. We did quite a bit of cooking and the kitchen was super. The laundry has a huge washing machine and dryer but the clothes line is well situated for drying (even in the pouring rain). We will absolutely be back!

Beyond expectations

Our whanau loved this place so much!!! It literally had every comfort of home you could want and more!!!!! Beautiful property, comfy beds, stunning location and wonderful owners. Perfect in every way! We were so sad to leave.

Didn't like that our holiday ended and we had to go home, lol. You're an idiot if you find fault here.

Awesome Place to Stay!

Lara was awesome to deal with. Super accommodating and nothing was a problem. The rooms were huge and it had a couple of ensuites. The open plan kitchen and lounge were really comfortable and we even got fresh fruit on our arrival. There was heaps of sauces, spices etc and milk when we got there. The washing machine is huge and it has some undercover lines to dry clothes quickly. The winner is the outside area. It has a number of living sapces and we loved sitting under the cover and reading. The kids loved the big outdoor grassed area, the beach right there and and obviously the pool. The house is an easy 10 minute walk to to beach side pubs (Shipwrecked and Wilsons) and Beluga Cafe is a 1 minute walk up the road. This area of the island is not great for snorklening but if you drive 5 mins down the road, it is great. We have stayed in a number of places on the island and this is the best. It has everything you will need! HIghly recommend!

Amazing location, beautiful property and great hosts.

Lara and the team are great, very hospitable and look after you really well. The location is great with good snorkelling just off the beach and great places to eat (Beluga and Castaway) nearby.

Nothing to improve - it’s great.

Exceptional

The pool was a lifesaver in the heat of the day and beautiful to relax in, in the evenings. The house is so comfortable and so much space. Air conditioning in each bedroom so no hot sticky nights. Lots of mozzi coils for us to use in the evenings. The sunsets every evening were just beautiful to watch. Our transfer to the accommodation included a stop to get some groceries, very considerate of the driver to offer this and very much appreciated. It was perfect 👌

The water pressure in the shower was a bit hit and miss but we were told that's normal in Rarotonga. The addition of air conditioning in the living room would take this accommodation to the next level.

Our First Family Holiday to Rarotonga and we had a blast at Sunset Quay. Beautiful Stay Thank you!

Absolutely Stunning! great facilities everything we needed was supplied and the Hosts were fantastic! This was by far our best holiday Accommodation to date. Best value for money Beautiful view Amazing outdoor facilities for swimming and lounging. Obviously a lot of thought went into this place even down to supplying Sauces,spreads insect repellent ect ect. Thank you Lara and Family we will definitely be staying here again when we come back!

Blissfully relaxing and so much time to chill and reconnect with the family, we didn't want to leave

The property had everything that we could possibly have needed, Lara and her partner were very helpful but not intrusive and the property was very clean. The pool was such a bonus for the family - rain or shine and the complete privacy was not anticipated but just amazing in hindsight. Having access to all the comforts of home e.g. bbq, washing machine, dryer, full kitchen, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms plus multiple seating areas indoors and out meant we all had our space if needed. Attention to recycling and minimising landfill was really pleasing to see - in fact rubbish was non existent everywhere we went - such a clean island.

We hadn't anticipated having to buy bottled water - not the fault of the property, it was just a minor inconvenience but sorry to see that not everyone in the Cooks has ready access to clean drinking water.
