Central location
Very old and dated and doesn’t reflect the rating

Check in - after sorting out the confusion with relatives also staying
Only one chair for two people. Only two small cups for two nights stay. No private access to toilet while other guest showering. Broken toilet seat cover. Serious condensation on shower ceiling (cold dripping on the person showering).

Pet friendly!
I was made to feel really welcomed with my cavoodle and it was great to having a sliding door to outside so it was easy to take him outside.
Bathroom a little worn but given it was pet friendly and clean- I’ll forgive it :)

Location
Reception/bar area was cold and lights went off at night. Atmosphere was very uninviting. Used to be a fabulous motel when the restaurant was open. Has definitely gone down hill in the last few years.

Easy to find
Large room
Plenty of parking
No cover for cars (however only a concern because a huge storm hit, otherwise it wouldn’t be an issue)

Well layed out room
Pleasent nights sleep
The A/Cs didn't work as they should.Once they were turned on one could't turn them off. Controlls on the remotes worked but when adjusted the units didn't respond to the settings set. There was suppose to a toaster in the room according to the booklet but there wasn't one how ever the staff did supply from the desk.

easy check in and staff very accomodating with special requests
the whole place needs a revamp, corridors to the rooms are dark and have a stale smell. room is extremely dated, tiny poor quality tv in the room. bathroom is poorly designed so water goes everywhere and is creating a problem.

The hotel was easy to find because it looks interesting from the outside. I was looking forward to my visit.
I am an 82 year old Registered Health Professional. I arrived at the Mantra in the afternoon and soon after I rang Admin to let them know that there was a serious water leak from the ceiling in the middle of the room. The carpet was soaked with water. The aircon didn't work and it was freezing inside the room. Nothing was done about it. I woke at 1am next morning feeling very ill. At 6.30am I rang Admin for help, thinking that I might have contracted COVID at a Conference in Melbourne. The 'manager' told me 'We do not have people with COVID here. You will have to find somewhere else to stay'. I managed to start on antiviral meds that day from the kind and caring Wagga Wagga hospital emergency staff and just did not leave the hotel room all day. I felt very unwell and alone. No one rang or came to see if I was okay that day or evening. I was not offered a warm dry room. I left the next day in my car to wend my way slowly back home to Brisbane. Interesting that one of the issues researched and discussed at the Conference was 'Moral Injury'.
