The room was stylish, spacious and clean. It had double glazing, so was very quiet. I arrived after their reception was closed, but their instructions to get to the room was easy to follow. Good location, just within the old town. There's a nice restaurant downstairs, but I didn't use it.
They took payment on my credit card before I arrived and overcharged me by US$5. When I raised it they refunded the overcharge, explaining that it "the system added it automatically", which I've never heard of before. If it wasn't for that, I would have said it was a perfect stay.

Large apartment, beautiful building, nice rooftop, and incredibly friendly staff.
There was often some noise at night as it is located at the centre of Casco Viejo nightlife. And the air conditioner has an overly complex start-stop system making it difficult to use.

Great location and room.
The only semi complaint is there not a pool.

This was a very nice place to stay in Casco Viejo. Our room was big and comfortable. It's at the city end of the old town but it's just a short walk to all of the shops and restaurants. The staff were helpful.

Location.
Shared large balcony
Room v vvv well equipped: fridge, microwave, glasses etc.
friendly welcoming staff. Felt like home from home.
Bar and restaurant on site
Very friendly and welcoming staff who remember your name and room number.
Room was not serviced or bed made in the 4 nights I stayed. I know I could have asked. I was slightly surprised to be told that staff did not go into rooms if guest was out. I did ask for toilet paper bin To be emptied after 2 days.
Room very well equipped. Fridge, microwave, crockery etc.
would have been nice to have a comfortable chair. There were 2 plastic dining chairs.
However overall I loved staying at las Clementinas and would stay there again.

Great location and relatively large accommodation for family of 4. Very good / handy attached garden restaurant and great views of the city from the roof (but wish the rooftop bar was functional). They have a very good tour guy (Luis) who took us on a surprisingly good eco tour of the canal and Gatun Lake for far below internet prices. Recommended. Overall, I really loved Panama City old town. Fantastic restaurants, bars and good vibe. Yet very easy to get into the surrounding jungle.
It was all pretty good. I guess the a/c could do with an upgrade. It struggled to really cool the room but did sufficiently ok.

Very quiet, well insulated windows and we were on the second floor. Helpful, friendly staff. Great breakfast!
The hotel is on the border of a dicey neighborhood so you have to be careful to stay within the Casco Viejo.

lovely place and great location
Rooms facing alley #7, 8, 9 there are screaming children playing loudly in street and 3 loud barking pit bulls tied up, extremely loud noise until midnight every night. Luckily I had ambien and my Bose noise cancelling headphones, I slept with them on my head and it made it bearable but have never had to sleep with so much noise.

The location is great if you want to see the old town. The restaurant, Mahalo, is great - delicious food with good vegetarian options, good service, cool decor and a cool vibe. Nice local craft beers too. The managers of the hotel were really attentive, friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom are big and clean, and the safe is large enough to fit a laptop.
The area can be noisy at night. The room felt a little stuffy and stale when the AC was off, and cold when it was on. The bed and pillows were ok, but not the most comfortable.

Gorgeous building right in the heart of Casco Viejo. We loved the location for its proximity to restaurants and shopping. The hotel provided a driver to pick us up and the airport. We loved our large suite. There was a nice kitchen with coffee and bottled water. Great shower and comfortable bed (although we prefer a king sized bed vs. a queen). We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the attached restaurant. Again, can't beat the location.
Since it was in the heart of the old town and near bars, it was very noisy at night and into the wee hours of the morning. We used our white noise on our phones to try to drown out the bass and noise. Bring earplugs and white noise.

Beautiful building, friendly and helpful staff. English spoken. Great restaurant.
Noisy part of town at night, take good earplugs.

The staff at the front desk was always very kind and incredibly helpful. The rooms were huge and the beds very comfortable. The location was very close to restaurants and convenient for walking around Casco Viejo.
It was very noisy at night, lots of clubs nearby and fireworks at night. We learned that this is normal during the holiday season.

We are so glad that we chose this hôtel for our very last 2 days in Panama, before to go back home in Québec city, Canada.
This hôtel is fabulous! The decor, the room, the location, the restaurant, and of course the staff. We had a wonderful time, and strongly recommand it to anyone.
The air conditioning is noisy.

Location was perfect. Staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable. The A/C was very strong! Very easy to use Las Clementinas as a "home base" to explore the city.
It was very noisy over the weekend during the evenings. I believe there was a large family party at a location adjacent to the hotel, and given that some of the rooms (mine included) are built around the courtyard, all of their chatter and music can be heard. If you are traveling with young kids, be advised. They quieted down around 12:30-1am, so depending if you're a nightlife person, it may not be an issue.
Separately, the tours advertised by the front desk were very expensive and they had relatively little information on what was included in the tours. I found many other cheaper, but still thorough and lovely, tours on my own.

I loved how helpful the staff was. They were so friendly and always offered assistance. I also loved the apartment because it was more than a room.
The stairs, however, that is a charm of the building. Actually. my 2-year-old loved practicing walking up and down them.

Our room was large, with a sitting area, dining table, full kitchen and wrap around terrace. The location was central to everything in Casco Viejo. Within walking distance to the Fish market and the San Felipe Market. There were plenty of places to eat and Mahalo is attached to Las Clementinas, with a great menu
If you don't know any Spanish, make sure you download a translator app. Most in Panama City do not speak english, at all. The front desk was great about calling Isabel when we had questions that the people at the desk could not answer, due to the language barrier.

Beautiful location in Casco Viejo! You can explore the quarter by foot and enjoy the restaurants and bars. Don’t forget to check the rooftop terrace - it has a very great view!
During our first night it was for a few hours very loud during the night (because of people partying on the streets). maybe this was due to the easter weekend. the second night everything was fine.

This is a gorgeous property with an old vintage feel. The rooms are large, airy and cozy. The little fancy décor touches add to the overall chic feel of the rooms. There is a beautiful garden restaurant and roofdeck on property. Located right in the middle of Casco Viejo, you can walk to all the famous sites and eateries.
I loved everything!

Las Clemantinas combines authentic historical charm with modern amenities and a great location. just steps to great shops and restaurants- and the entire old city is perfectly walking from this location.
The staff were wonderful and the property permitted us to check in early and stored our bags for a day after checking out.
We had a fantastic full apartment with a wrap around balcony and kitchen. it was all appointed and decorated with old world charm.
Whather you stay here or not - don’t miss the breakfast in the garden! The restaurant Maloha is just downoand has great food and fantastic service and is open from 7:30am-11:00pm. great for any meal.
I highly recommend this boutique hotel.
The noise from local clubs might disturb some but we found it made the experience just that much more vibrant. we left the doors open to let in the night air and sounds of the town.

The location and staff were amazing. I loved that Mahalo restaurant was right there. The structure of the building was really cool and loved the sun deck.
The bathroom and shower were not really clean... especially the floors. The noise level was a little tough some nights but I know with that location it can't really be avoided.
