Check in was smooth and easy. Staff was friendly. Location was ideal, right next to the beach. Room was very spacious for our family of 4, spick and span. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was also clean and spacious.
There were 6 of us so we booked 2 rooms. Our family room was very spacious but the other room for 2 other guests was on the smaller side. The floor boards were kind of noisy when walking around the room. Was concerned for the neighbours below us. Hopefully it wasn’t loud for them.

Location is excellent. The weather was good so we made good juice and walks safe front didn’t have breakfast but did have an evening meal which is Good value for money . Peter
I can honestly say there wasn’t anything I didn’t like the room was freshly decorated clean with tea and coffee facilities and even a biscuit so well done.

Great location next to the sea with friendly staff. Walking distance to town. Fantastic place to stay if you're planning to walk the C2C as it's located very close to the trailhead.

Breakfast was as good as we could have expected and the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.
Room was basic but clean and comfortable. We couldn't have expected more for the price we paid.
Dinner was only available in the bar as opposed to the Restaurant, but the quality and choice of the food available was such on our first evening that we didn't bother looking further afield for the rest of our stay.
Possibly if the dinner had been served in the restaurant the evenings that we were there, it might have suited couples who would have preferred a more intimate setting than the lounge bar. But it was fine for my wife and I.

Great place for a night prior to starting coast to coast. Nicely refurbished rooms right on beach front
The food at dinner was excellent but the service had me thinking any minute Basil Faulty was going to appear. Service was disorganized, panicked and unprofessional but nevertheless in a friendly sort of way. probably benefit from a visit from the hotel inspector or Gordon Ramsey

All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was good both in the evening and at breakfast. Although some of the hotel looked a bit dated it was very clean and tidy. Good value for money.
The bed was not very comfortable.

We liked the location the staff.
Not enough wardrobe space, vegi options on the food menu, only 2 and we stayed for 8 days so very poor and on the last night our order was messed up so we only had chips.

Lovely staff, clean and comfy accommodation. Great location.
Music in bar. Not original artists so a bit odd.

Location was good, free on-site parking a bonus rooms were modern and clean. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good.
public areas, ie, reception, bar and breakfast room are very dated. We booked a table in the restaurant when we booked the room and had confirmation of this. The restaurant was closed and we were allocate a table in the bar without being told or given any explanation. We also booked a sea view room but was given a room overlooking the roof and extractors. However this was changed without any issue.

Staff were so friendly and nothing was too much for them. Amazingly good with our hyperactive puppy and recommend ideal places to take him out for the day. Room was really big and played out well with a door straight outside for the dog. Bathroom and shower was very modern and more than big enough. We both felt it was a home away from home. Will definitely be back with some friends and family
