Zero service wouldn’t recommend

The only place available

Tv didn’t work. Every option was went through. Reception closed at 5 just after I got there. Went straight back to reception and knocked no response. Remote was taped together but obviously no good anyway. There was a fist hole punched into the wall 🤦🏼‍♀️

Would stay there again. Great value.

Room was very clean, had a nice view and the single beds were very comfortable. Had everything in the room we needed and when we asked for a couple of things, the staff attended to our request immediately.

The queen sized bed was a bit hard.

Only there for 2 days. convenient to shops

the location was great. Had a drama with the air conditioning which was fixed as soon as it was reported. Rooms were clean. a little dated but great value for the price. I will definitely stay there again.

Clean, Cheap and Convenient.

Cheapest hotel in town, closest to the airport. This is classic motel material, offering a microwave in the room instead of the defunct restaurant. Fast food joints and a pub are across the busy main road.

The property seems to be remotely operated most of the time, without reception service. The key is deposited in a safe box with keypad, and the only way to get the combination is to call the phone number posted at the door. This is not in the property description and seems to presume that every guest will have a working mobile phone at the ready. The concept of automated access is well established in cheap chain hotels in Europe, yet their ATM-like check-in procedure does not require using a phone, just a credit card will give you an access code. Road noise was somewhat droned out by the A/C rattling away, but Gladstone traffic volumes are low at night.

My first trip to Gladstone

Staff were great. Temporarily lost our room keys & were happy to let us in without extra charge. Eventually found them.

That the resort spa wasn't hot & power in our room was lost

Very outdated & just gross. So much noise from every angle, paper thin walls. Family hardly slept! Never again.

Very pleasing apart from abovementioned noise.

We knew that their restaurant was closed but did find that a little disappointing. The room overall was clean and comfortable, though the lower chair rails need dusting. Some cold water in the fridge would have been welcome. It is good to see motels in this price range supplying a hairdryer and excellent quality loo paper.

Unfortunately, our one night stay was greatly marred by someone in the near vicinity playing very loud music with a very heavy base beat right through the night until 5am. We have no way of knowing if this was within the motel complex or nearby, but it meant an almost sleepless night.
