Great location in the center of Colmar, it is a pedestrian zone
DON’T COME if you need 2 separate beds. The roll-out bed in the living room was broken. The owner had been aware about it, but nothing was done to repair or change it. We called the manager to inform about it, but nothing was done. We asked about this bed even before arrival. We had to sleep ON THE GROUND. For such expensive rent it is unacceptable!
Wi—fi connection was very poor, as, it seems that the internet box is located in another apartment and is shared, so don’t really hope to have good internet.

The location is amazing and Colmar is beautifull.
The comunication with the person was not good. She does not answer the messages.

Location was incredible! We arrived on the opening day of the Christmas Market and had a gorgeous view from the living room window of the market and lights. Getting there and finding parking was easy. (We parked at the Montagne Verte garage and paid about 40 euros for two nights—it was just a couple minutes walk from the apartment). We could walk to everything we wanted to see and do around the markets. Check in was SO easy (we communicated via WhatsApp and used Google Translate since we don’t speak French—we had no problems communicating). The host was extremely responsive and helpful. We liked being able to walk downstairs to the bakery each morning to buy breakfast. We really enjoyed the apartment. It is an old building and understandably has its quirks. But we had a great time and would absolutely go back!
When we arrived there was a problem with the heat in the building, so it was very cold. But they did provide an electric space heater and sent someone the next morning to repair the heat. So it wasn’t a huge deal. But we were REALLY cold that first night. That was our only issue. Be prepared to climb a narrow, winding staircase up several floors. This was no issue at all for us, but could be problematic for some folks.

.Very charming rooms and facilities. Quick check in via phone. Really really nice towels, very soft! Full kitchen w/ fridge and cooktop. Great location right in the middle of all the restaurants and shops.
3 floor walkup, very tight, very steep. If you are very tall, over 6ft look elsewhere. Sofa pull out bed was broken. TV was not setup properly, but worked after some fixing. Uneven floors and low doorways slightly inconvenient but not overwhelming.

Location is absolutely central.

Perfect for anyone who wants to be right in the heart of Colmar old town. You can‘t be closer, incl the lane’s “Winstub“ chatter which i really loved to have in the room and which can be shut off by simply closing the good quality windows !
Also great if you want to experience how it is to live in one of the buildings with those tilted outside features. Not straight inside either, what an experience !
Talking to the host is possible only if you speak French. That’s perhaps an unjust complaint being in France, but then the hosts are in the hospitality circuit… We received a door unlocking code via SMS after the call, but no WiFi password (visible were just two locked private WiFi, both not WiFi of the facility‘s name); i did not dare to call again. The washing machine was marked as unusable by a strip of wide sticky tape. Climbing up/down the narrow stairs we saw four appartments in total, the one we had was rebuildt in 00’s style and wear consummate with installation in that decade; judging from other comments here, the smaller appartments seem to have been revamped more recently (the state of the building is properly warned against by the hosts, but some reviews here seem to indicate top-notch internals which was not the case for our unit)

good location, clean, with kitchen
no elevator

the location was excellent. the original accents in the apartment were nice if you are not that tall. we constantly bumped our heads everywhere
the central heating in the apartment was turned on and unstoppable. I mean not able to turn of, although it was 36degrees outside. the staff couldn’t speak any other language then French and the bathroom was really in a bad shape. mold and broken sink.

The location, though parking is not easy.
It was a bit old and a few things needed to get fixed.

The location was excellent and the town is charming. The room was architect designed on the second floor of an ancient building
Appartment charmant au coeur de la cite.
The promised washing machine was not there. The shower was broken and although we reported it immediately no-one came to fix it.
Deux bemols: La machine a laver n'existait pas, la douche etait cassee.

awesome location. beautiful historic home!
would have liked a door leading into the main upstairs bedroom for privacy.

Very Clean, central location. Great shower and water pressure. in summer could be loud w delivery trucks and bar below, but that is typical for cities and central locale.
Communication was not good. Only French speaking and was not told front door entry code upon checkin. (This is handwritten on WiFi code page in apt, but with no explanation what it is, I feel like a guest may have wrote it down to remember).
Had to go to a hotel next door to speak on phone w owner to get the code after numerous phone call and text attempts. So not timely responsive to communicating. Use Google translate if you want this to not be an issue. For this reason is why I’m marking this a lower rating. The bathroom is missing a light over sink, so can make difficult to get ready.

Great little apartment right in the centre of Colmar. The one I stayed in was on the top floor and there is no lift, so do bear this in mind if you have a lot of luggage. The apartment was clean and cosy, nicely decorated and the bathroom was great. The bed is on a mezzanine level with steep stairs, so be mindful with small children.

Maybe better communication between host and guests.

- the apartment is renovated (maybe not 100% finish but good enough) with new washroom and kitchen, not sure if they function well because we didn't use it but its nice
- the location in very centric, not too noisy in the evening as I expected
- there was a small electric fan available
- there was a portable crib if you travel with a baby
- The checkin detail is not precise. They should have told us that we need to call 30 minutes in advance to checkin. I sent a message day before our checkin on our arrival details but no reply. I called and nobody answered, didn't even call back after leaving a message. Then, I called again and she told me i should have informed earlier, so now I have to wait for them for the apartment to be ready.
- The bed is really not comfortable. I read from other reviews but didn't mind it because I am not really choosy with beds. But this one is really bad, maybe its ok for one person but not for 2. The pillows are too high and huge for a small bed.
- small detail but would appreciate a wine opener especially that the place is known for good wines, guest can buy and open a bottle at the apartment

A lot of noise in the noget.

Nice shower
Rude and gaslighting host. Ad is wrong: there is no free parking space with the apartment, not even nearby in the area. There was a washing machine but it was weird because the host does not provide washing liquid or a drying rack. There is also a senseo machine but the host also told us that we have to buy senseo pads ourselves which I thought was odd. Who buys a bottle of washing detergent and a box of machine-specific coffee for a place where they only stay for a night or two? There was also an electric stove which did not work. When I informed with the host about the broken stove she just gaslit me saying there is no stove in the apartment. The host overall was pretty rude and unclear. It was also unclear that you need to call the host upon arrival then ww ait a minute or 10 and she will show up with a key and let you in. The apartment felt fake, the washing machine and coffee machine just felt like props and the stove and clock just basically did not work. I wonder if she just installed them to say in the ad that they are in the apartment but she does not feel like providing the things for the facilities to work.
