Relaxing, fun, caring host and simply a great place to stay. Would happily visit here again.

The romm was wonderfully decorated and large. It was a in fact a suite of 3 rooms plus a private yard. We also had shared access to the kitchen and dining rooms. The host (Chris) was the host with the most. Caring, entertaining, sweet, very eager to please the guests. The location was a short walk from town centre and the whole region was superbly dotted with wineries and Murray River and lake walks. Fantastic gettaway. Also very pet friendly!

Comfortable but disappointing

It was clean and the bed was huge and comfortable. The site is very dog friendly. Chris was very knowledgeable for our questions. Unfortunately the rest was disappointing .

Although it was just my wife and I, there is no way the villa would suit a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children. The bed was huge but that was the only bed apart from a single foldaway. There is no light in the bedroom apart from 2 side lamps but there is a switch on the wall labelled light. When I asked about the WiFi, I was told that Chris would have to bring in a modem? The bathroom is dangerous. No shower screen or curtain, so the floor gets slippery & toilet seat gets wet. Apart from a small light outside the villa door, there is no other outdoor lighting.

Enjoyable stay on every level where we were made very welcome by the humans and the canines.

We enjoyed the whole experience. We are dog lovers - as are the hosts Chris and Charlie and their dogs of all sizes. Easy to recommend this location. Enjoyable on all levels included breakfast on deck with Chris and furry friends.

One of the friendliest places you could possibly wish to stay.

Very dog friendly. Chris was extremely welcoming and her breakfasts were delicious. Good location within easy walking distance to the centre of Rutherglen

Love the focus was on our fur baby. Our dog loved it and so did we. Chris was a wonderful host and kind person, caring for all her dogs and still spoiling ours. Easy walk to town, we didn't use most of the facilities as we only were there a night but our dog Luna loved sniffing around and being outside with the other dogs. Will definitely book again!

Fantastic dog-friendly B&B with exceptional hosts

Amazing hospitality from Chris, Charlie and their dogs! Our room was clean and spacious, with a very comfy bed, everything we would need and a great outdoor space for our dog to explore. Great location, very close to the main street. Couldn't find a better place to stay with your dog. The breakfasts were delicious and Chris is a fantastic host.

Amazing get away with the fur babies for my hubby’s birthday.

everything!!! My pups can roam free safely, then breakfasts are a hit and the hosts are just so gorgeous. i love all the kisses from the furry friends too!

that I couldn’t stay longer (no fault to the host, just I had to get back to reality)

perfect for those traveling with a dog.

great owner who was there when we arrived and provided information on the property and the local area. homemade cakes were delicious. Property catered well for our dog which was made welcome.

Exceptional hosts. Warm welcome for two and four legged guests. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and cosy. Having a private garden was fantastic for our dog. A great base to explore the region.

Lovely break away in a perfect dog friendly accomodation.

We loved the old style of the cottage, the fenced private outside area for the dogs, the spacious accomodation, afternoon tea and special dog treats provided by Chris and the location which was quiet and an easy walk to town. Everything here was dog focussed in a way I’ve never seen before. It was too old to swim in the pool but in Summer even the dogs are allowed in for a dip.Plenty of dog friendly wineries to visit and had dinner at The Pickled Sisters where dogs were welcome in the front courtyard. Great weekend away.

Very enjoyable, pleasant and relaxing stay!

Breakfast servings were large and nicely cooked. Only a short walk to the middle of town. Host was eager to please and her local knowledge and suggestions were very useful.

Nothing really. Only a couple of very minor details. An outside light at the Garden suite would be useful but not essential. Another extremely minor detail would be a complimentary box of facial tissues.

Relaxing, fun, delicious and a great location for all the a Rutherglen wine district and the Murray have to offer

Chris and Charlie are wonderful hosts! great food, fabulous stories and a true love of dogs. Our Kelpie had a great time too ( and I loved the pool on a very hot day).

Excellent location and wonderful hosts

Our hosts Chris and Charles are extremely welcoming. The wine tour with Charles was excellent and Charles provided lots of local history and wonderful stories. The breakfast each morning was lovely and set us up for the day.

Comfortable, dog friendly stay, with enclosed yards in each suite for you fur baby.

Close to Rutherglen main street. Easy to find. Very friendly owners and dogs!

Would have liked a stove to cook on as I have food allergies.

Fabulous stay and can't wait to return

Delicious breakfast. We were made very welcome and so were our dogs. Full attention given to all our needs and wonderful hosts. Lovely relaxing garden which we put to good use. Easy to find and a great location, close to the centre of town but in a quiet area.

First Fur Baby holiday

Comfy bed. Friendly staff. Excellent Breakfast. Secure yard. Wine tour including our fur child. Local info, suggestions and recommendations. Was like visiting family/friends not a BnB. So comfortable welcoming. Yummy surprise on check in 😜
