This was the perfect stay! It was so serene and tranquil. Beautiful views of the forest, country and sea, and it was very convenient drives for dog friendly nature. The cottage itself had wonderful amenities, spectacular views and was very private.

Fire was set, ground coffee and percolator, board games and DVDs. So many creature comforts to make us all feel cosy.
We found map reading quite difficult with the lighting. Needed to use the lamp lighting often.

Everything!! It was perfect.
Make sure you bring food to cook as there is a fully contained kitchen and shops are far away. There are beautiful fresh herbs you can pick from the garden to cook with.

wonderful location amongst the tall gum trees and singing birds in a well kept farm stay property. our cabin was spacious, with lovely features- fire already set for us on arrival, spa bath, and balcony overlooking the pond.
nothing we didn’t like! there isn’t under cover parking - this is really the only thing we would add but it didn’t detract from our stay at all.

Helen & Julian, the hosts, are great communicators, sending required information and answering questions via email and phone before the visit. They were friendly and generous hosts, touring us around the farm and helping the kids with feeding the farm animals and spotting the native animals. We also enjoyed using the small cottage garden and orchard for fresh herbs and lemons with our meals. The experience was authentic, relaxed and welcoming - like having your own farm for a few days.
The farm and Johanna River are beautiful, the animal experiences were fantastic and the accommodation was clean and cosy. Our whole extended family loved the experience and recommend it.

Thank you for being such a lovely host. Our 2 year old had such a wonderful time and loved feeding all the animals and playing with your beautiful dogs. The cabins were cosy and comfortable. The fireplace was such a treat especially on a cold winter night. Even though it was raining most of the time we still had great time. Will definitely come back soon :)

the wilderness, the fireplace was all lit up when we arrived after sunset providing much needed warmth. we were hit by the full brunt of a hail storm and was unscathed.

Beautiful location. Loved the beautiful, quiet and serene Acacia cottage. Even better was that there was no reception and wifi - it was amazing to just "turn off" and enjoy the surrounds. The puppy loved the yard and was so intrigued by all the different emails. We will definitely be back.

The view was astounding. Took our breath away, we spent many nights watching the sunset over the hills and ocean. Gorgeous bird life.
We didn’t dislike much, the property is an older style cabin and family and pet friendly. Some native wildlife as expected in the area, particularly in Summer.

The views were spectacular, loved the gardens and native plantings. Really appreciated the bird life especially the Bower birds near our cottage. Excellent walks around the farm with mown tracks and clear directions. it was a perfect time to visit.
