Maar 1 nacht maar zou er zo langer verblijven.

Wij zij maar een nacht geweest. Dus lastig beoordelen maar we zijn heel hartelijk en behulpzaam ontvangen. De patio voor het ontbijt is echt top.

Alles, de vriendelijkheid, de locatie, het ontbijt, de flexibiliteit en de mogelijkheden voor excursies We hadden door dit hotel echt een superverblijf in Mindelo, we raden deze accommodatie iedereen aan.

The hotel is extremely comfortable and in an excellent location. The staff were all helpful- nothing was too much trouble. Isabel, the owner/manager is wonderful! She gave us lots of tips and advice and made us feel personally very welcome.

Super clean and great service!

Everything was nice and neat. Super clean, comfy bed, super friendly staff, great breakfast. The area was nice too, walking distance to the ferry.

The water pressure in the shower was not the best but even that, wasnt too bad.

Good one night stay

Room was clean and tidy, good breakfast, staff is extremely attentive, the hotel is close to bars, restaurants and also close to the ferry port and close to Laginha beach. The room was comfortable, with complimentary water, AC and a ceiling fan. Toiletries are provided.

Bathroom was super small and there was a water leakage from somewhere as there was a noise like if the water reservoir from the toilet was broken or something. From my point of view the cost-benefit is a bit high.

Stayed here en route between San Vicente and Sao Antao

Good choice for breakfast; outdoor seating in a courtyard. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Helpful reception staff. Close to town and to ferry terminal.

I liked our stay at Kira’s very much. Very good location, safe, always someone available for everything. Friendly staff, very delicious breakfast. The breakfast was also locally inspired, selfmade bread, cake, yoghurt, juice, catchupa …, but if you just want a continental breakfast there is also more than enough choice!

The only thing I missed was a good coffee with my breakfast, the coffee available was some kind of instant coffee. But not such a big thing, more than enough places to drink a good coffee in Mindelo! We liked our stay a lot!

nice staff and location

santa luzia room should simply not exist, the entrance was literally behind reception and the windows on the common garden. zero privacy and noise insulation. owners know this very well as earplugs where already in the room

Check if your room is next to reception as it's not a good room.

The breakfast was lovely - catchupa and meats, cheeses, bread, fruit, yoghurts etc.

We had a bad room. We just needed a place to get a good night's sleep but our room was right next to the reception desk. In addition, our window shutters opened out to the courtyard so we couldn't open them for fresh air without people having breakfast being able to see in. I felt quite claustrophobic by the time we left and because we had to rely on AC to cool the room, my cough felt worse. We were woken around 11:30pm by people collecting keys from reception, at 1am by people ringing the bell to gain access, and then from 6:30am by the breakfast set up and after 7am people were eating breakfast right outside our window so we just got up. There was no space in the courtyard for us to eat breakfast so we didn't even get to enjoy the lovely area that made our stay uncomfortable! If I'd known the location of the room I would have paid more for another room because we left feeling terrible.

Breakfast was amazing. There was lots of variety in the buffet selection, from homemade bread to homemade yogurt and freshly made omlettes or fruit juice, there was nothing more we could want. Also, the room was very nice and the owner was very helpful regarding dinner choices, the ferry schedule and arranging transportation. We liked it so much, we came back for another night after returning from Santo Antao.

On our second night we had a room facing the street. It got pretty loud until about 11 pm.

Great place to stay in São Vicente.

Super friendly staff, great breakfast, cozy atmosphere in the rooms but also in the public areas. Central location, close to the beach, good restaurants and the ferry. We liked it so much, that we booked again after returning from Santo Antao.

Comfortable clean well located and highly recommended

I stayed here for two nights. On my way to Santa Antao and then on my way back. A very comfortable and pleasant place. Clean rooms. Lovely Cape Verdean women who manage the hotel. Very good breakfast that can be taken either indoors or in an interior courtyard. They were very helpful in making taxi arrangements, restaurants and directing me to get a Covid test.

very comfortable and well located hotel. The Cape Verdean women who run it are fluent in English and work tremendously helpful and responsive. They arranged airport pick up and a taxi to take me to the port.

Very friendly staff and fantastic location. Rooftop with a great view and furniture to relax. Garden with lots of nice plants and tables to have breakfast. Nice and clean room and bathroom.

Excellent accommodation with great value for money

From all (3 in total) accommodations I tried in Mindelo, by far the BEST one. And the best value for money 👍 Fantastic staff and warm welcome from the owner. Bed was very comfortable. Location is ideal - 5min by foot from the stores etc. Breakfast was for all tastes! They arranged a room on the courtyard side, even more quiet. Not to mention responsiveness, kindness and help (laundry service).

Great boutique hotel, nice rooms, excellent breakfast, in a quiet area close both to the ferry port and the old city animation. I will choose this hotel for sure if I pass by Mindelo again. And thanks Isabel and her team for the warm welcome! Note: I was upgraded to the Fogo room
