Useful journey breaker

excellent bathroom, electric charging on site, free WiFi, very helpful staff.

No kettle in room, cups in public area small, parking instructions re fees etc. confusing.

Appalling noise from the lift - day and night - so no sleep for 2 nights.

It was close to the location of my visit's purpose.

My room. It was right next to the lift, the noise from which provided continual disruption, day and night, despite me wearing ear plugs at all times. Basically I got no sleep in two nights. I just don't believe that staff are totally unaware of this problem with their building. By all means put your worst enemy in that room but what have I ever done? I won't be staying with IBIS again after this. I'm utterly appalled.

The bed had a bunker on top of the bed which I was not aware of and made my night a bit uncomfortable.

remove the bunker bed for people without children.

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Couldn't fault them. Room was small but clean.

There was renovation work at the bar/ restaurant so there was no breakfast or dinner available. The website didn't mention this when booking so it would have been nice to know. There's also no kettle in the rooms. Tea and coffee was available at reception, but a kettle in the room would have been great. No one wants to get dressed and leave their room for a cuppa in the morning.

Hotel was easy enough to find, staff were helpful and room was clean, bed was comfy

Would have liked some drawers to put some stuff in while I was out during the day, not a big room to fit loads in but could have been some under desk by the window,

Would use the hotel again for three main reasons, price, shower & quietness of room at night.

The shower in the room was fantastic & the hotel was very quiet. It’s a budget hotel you don’t expect much but the shower was hot with good pressure & the room was really quite at night which helps with a good nights sleep.

The size of the room was a bit tight for two people. The hotel dining area didn’t look great but there was a small outdoor space which helps. We didn’t plan to use hotel facilities so wasn’t a issue for us.

The breakfast was adequate, fair price. The hotel was easy enough to find and the staff were friendly.

The booking via booking. Com was misleading I thought I was getting a double room but I ended up with a single room with a double bed and bunk bed above it, so not as described on the website.

exactly what you’d expect from no frills budget stop.

shower was brilliant. clean room. perfect location for us, free parking (busy but found a space). late check in available. cheap room at £59 for two adults.

room was freezing cold on arriving at 23:30, took a while to warm, last thing we needed after a long day when we were ready for bed. yea making facilities not in room. had to go to reception to make one which isn’t ideal. was free though. Staff were quite rude in the morning check out.

clean and reasonably quiet with good black out curtains

budget sums up a room that is so small you have to walk sideways past the bed and no kettle or coffee or tea!
