Prima voor een kort verblijf in Hildesheim

De locatie pal naast het centrum kwam goed van pas voor een extra nachtje in Duitsland na twee lange ritten met de cabrio in de Harz. Nog even shoppen en makkelijk een restaurant te vinden. Modern en doelmatig ingerichte kamer. Prima internet om de volgende ochtend wat online meetings te kunnen doen.

De service is wel heel spartaans. Het zou eigenlijk bijna geheel digitaal geregeld kunnen worden. Het ontbijt hebben we niet in het hotel genoten, maar buiten in het centrum vanwege het mooie weer.

Freundliches Hotel

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Servicepersonal an der Rezeption. Hier kann man sich an der kleinen Bar/Theke mit frisch gezapftem Bier und anderen Kalt- und Heissgetränken verwöhnen lassen.

.....nicht noch mal .......

Am 10.01.24 war ich geschäftlich in Hildesheim und hatte für eine Nacht im IBIS-Styles Hotel ein Zimmer gebucht. Die Dame an der Rezeption war beim Einchecken professionell distanziert. Das Zimmer machte zunächst einen guten und sauberen Eindruck. Der Thermostat im Zimmer war auf sommerliche 28 Grad eingestellt und ließ sich auch nur auf ca. 23 Grad runterdrehen. Dementsprechend warm war es im Zimmer. Energiesparen in der heutigen Zeit geht sicherlich anders….. Ebenfalls negativ aufgefallen ist, dass die Fernbedienung des Fernsehers nicht funktionierte und das Waschgel in der Dusche leer war. Das sind aber sicherlich Kleinigkeiten. Besonders negativ war allerdings, das abends plötzlich eine dicke Wanze über einen Tisch am Bett krabbelte, die von mir erlegt wurde. Ein Foto habe ich gemacht. Wenig später krabbelte eine zweite Wanze über jenen Tisch, die das ebenfalls nicht überlebte. Leider war die Rezeption bereits nicht mehr besetzt. Der Schlaf in der Nacht war daraufhin für mich etwas weniger tief und unruhig…!! Das Frühstücksbuffet am nächsten Morgen war bereits um 08.00 Uhr so gut wie abgeräumt und der Frühstücksraum hatte trotz aller Farben den Charme einer Betriebskantine. Das ist aber mein persönliches Empfinden und sicherlich Geschmackssache. Beim Auschecken teilte ich dem Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption die oben genannten Punkte mit und präsentierte ihm auf meinem Handy auch das Foto von der Wanze. Er hatte dazu aber nicht viel zu sagen, hat sich die Punkte notiert und wolle es weitergeben. Das war’s. Mein Fazit: IBIS-Style Hotel Hildesheim nicht nochmal !!!

Gute Lage, ansprechendes Design, sehr freundliches Personal

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind für einen Hotelneubau doch etwas hellhörig... also nicht ruhig. Das können andere besser (z. B. Motel One)

Very happy with excellent hotel.

This was our second visit to Ibis Styles and we went for a slightly bigger double room which was much better as there was room to sit chat and relax at one end as well as the very comfy bed excellent shower and toilet at the other. Breakfast was perfect. Location allowed us a short ten min walk to the beautiful Hildesheim centre. Staff friendly and always helpful.

Very clean, good air quality, very silent(!), easy to book and check in/out. Good parking. Ok breakfast. Very pleased with our stay.

Modern city hotel

We stayed for 9 nights. The hotel has new modern furniture. The walls and furniture are painted in fancy and radiant colours. Everything in the hotel smells of cleanliness and freshness. The staff is extremely kind and responsive. The location of the hotel is very convenient, in close proximity to the main shopping street, the old town, the theater. We would love to go back there again.

Excellent breakfast. Staff all very polite and helpful. Excellent showering facility.

Little storage for clothing. Two plugs a bit dodgy and air con stopped at one point but remedied once reported.

Everyone was friendly and it was clean and comfortable. I think possibly the best shower I've had in my life and the bed was extremely comfortable

Only thing that would have stopped me from booking the room if I'd known... There is no door on the bathroom. I was there with my father and son. We all need a bit of privacy when we take a shower. Wasn't ideal for us and it is not clear in the booking process that there is no door. Despite that though we got around it with a complicated arrangement of towels and loved everything else.

I've stayed in many hotels over the years and ibis St is the only hotel that doesn't provide Tea/coffee facilities in the room....if it did have this it would have been a 10/10 for sure.

Lovely hotel, great location and friendly staff

Good location, clean and tidy, great shower (pressure & temperature), very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect heating controls.
