Wonderful location, breakfast staff & team at beach hut superb. Pool areas are lovely and the views to die for. Excellent boat hire from the beach.
Front of house manager was very curt, almost rude. The reception area is not welcoming at all. Room servicing hit and miss. Some days water, shampoo etc was not replenished and we were made to feel we were being difficult when we requested replacements. Rooms are fine but utilitarian rather than luxurious. Breakfast buffet poor. Beach hut serves good food, cocktails etc but closes early which means there are no options to eat or get a drink in the hotel in the evening. Overall the hotel has enormous potential but lacks charm and personality. Overpriced in our view.
4.5
Nice location at a secluded beach with taverna and boat rental next door.
Inviting pool and good loungers on the sun deck at the waterfront.
Also when fully booked not crowded at all.
It lacks a Greek and personal touch.
More tables outside for breakfast would be an improvement.

The location of the hotel is spectacular. The pools are lovely and the gardens idyllic. The teams who managed the breakfast service and pool bar were fabulous.
When we arrived, reception staff did not know we needed a twin room and initially said because there was no record of us asking for one, they were unable to accommodate our request. I explicitly requested one twin room and had the email to evidence it. Only when I insisted and pointed out that the double bed could be split into twin beds did they agree to change the configuration. The Service attitude from what I assume was the reception manager was very poor. Her general tone of voice was curt - almost rude which was very surprising.
On our first morning, we got to breakfast late in the service, with only about 10 minutes to spare. We were able to serve ourselves but then the team started to clear. It is a self service breakfast including coffee from a machine. When my husband asked if he could serve himself a coffee just after the service had closed, the manager said 'Yes, but just one.' Again, her tone was short and officious.
The breakfast itself was mediocre. Fruit salad not fresh daily and generally not what we would have expected.
Pool bar is great, the food we got from there was of a good standard. However, it closed at 7pm and the hotel does not have any other restaurant or food service. There are two tavernas very close but we were surprised and disappointed the pool bar closed so early.
One afternoon, when we returned from a day out, our room had been serviced but water and bathroom products had not been not replenished and worryingly, our safe was open. This was most likely due to a miscommunication within the team as our safe was not functioning earlier and a member of staff came to fix it. However, he fixed it with us present in the morning, and so no-one else should have opened it in our absence. When we called reception to request water & bathroom products, we also requested an iron and ironing board. The response was polite but we were told we had to go and collect everything ourselves from reception. Not a 4-star service at all.

The place is beautiful, quiet, well decorated, the hotel is around a small beach and you will feel at the end of the world. We had a junior suite, with a terrace facing the sea. Small kitchen in it too. Great restaurant nearby called "Cavo Barbaro". Had a great massage too. Big pool + crystal clear sea. Good (and cheap) food at the pool bar. They were also kind to let us stay during the day before our plane. A must ! I love this place
No yoga classes or fitness activities as it was the beginning of October. A bit hard to reach if you come by bus (better to have its own car).
