Great place to stay in San Salvador. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the wifi was stable and fast. The location was also convenient. The area felt safe and was close to various restaurants.
The breakfast could be better. I didn't feel full after it. Orange juice was not freshly squeezed.

Friendly staff and 24 Hour reception for security and check in. Air conditioning works well and hotel is kept clean.
Location - Not really close to any shopping or eating areas. The area is more residential with only supermarket and a few small restaurants close by.

While comparing the various options for private rooms based on the reviews before I booked this one I noted that people were sometimes struggling with hot rooms, and I saw that here all rooms had AC. Other hostels sometimes only have AC in the more expensive rooms. Not that I'm an AC fan, because I only use it when really needed, and if so I put it on low and 26/27 degrees, but if you (are from the US and) want to stay in a fridge (like at home) this is a good choice for you. That being said, I didn't need it.
With my booking I had requested a double bed and that request was confirmed. I always book a double bed so I can sleep diagonally, because the 1.90 beds are too short.
The room was spacious, the shower was very nice, the bed was decent, the breakfast was also OK and staff was in general friendly. Also the wifi was very good, and there is drinking water. All in all, quality-price was good.
One of the reviews said that it was quiet, which was another reason I booked it. It indeed seems a nice and quiet neighbourhood, but with 4 AC units just outside the window it was not quiet at all. At least in my room (I think it was nr. 9) you definitely need earplugs to be able to sleep.
Also, the next morning there was drilling work in the room below me, so it was again very noisy. It is more logical to plan such activities after (most of) your guests have checked-out.
There were no blankets in the room. For that I hoped I would be fine, but unfortunately early morning I woke up because of the cold (which also means AC is not needed). Make sure they give you a blanket.
The water in the shower did not drain properly.
The breakfast area is very clinical. They could make something better of it. Ensuite there was one table in a tiny garden, so if you're early you can sit there.
Please note there is no kitchen for general use. It is their kitchen to prepare breakfast. If you need it for lunch or dinner you are allowed to use (only) the microwave.
Finally, I read that after 21:30 you can't get in. It is something to take into account if you are used to going out for dinner or a drink.

The personal is nice and helpful. They are always on top on things and service is fast! Breakfast were tasty with local flavor
the property needs a little more upkeep and maintenance. specially plumbing. A little more green space in the property would be great

A very comfortable 3 night stay and would definitely return. The staff were really friendly, helpful and professional, bed was comfy, the hotel was super clean throughout. You need to take a bus to the occidental terminal which is easy and I liked the safe, quiet location with supermarket, bus stop, restaurants and bars close by. Choice of 3 excellent breakfasts, including my favourite, avena. Boiling hot shower, air con, and the cherry on the top, …… my view. Thank you to the owner and all the staff.

Staff were very friendly, property was clean, and we enjoyed the pancakes for breakfast.
As an area to improve on the decor is a little dated.
