Lovely clean little hotel close to the beach

Very friendly welcome from the abuela on arrival who showed personally to my room. My Spanish isn't great so when it failed me there was a young lady working here who had perfect English which was very helpful. It is a very simple, traditional place but very pretty and superbly clean. Located a short distance to the beach and besides the football stadium. Has a cafe bar downstairs too.

Location was great. Taxi rank right on the door and buses just around the corner

We paid for the included breakfast. It is just in rhe bar by reception. They don't tell you what there is available or have a menu. They just come to the table and ask you what you want. I needed my boarding pass printed and they sent me a 15 minute walk away as they said they had no email access 😑 for me to send it to them to print. The cleaning lady and the old lady were lovely but the rest of the staff were not nice and not helpful at all

Was ok, but wont stay again.

Hotel was on a nice location and very close to the beach, also there was enough places to eat around.

Staff not really welcoming, too much noise. Yo can hear everything in nearby rooms and the hallway. Other guest with a dog barking all the time.

The bed was not comfortable. There was not enough breakfast choices. Also it was very hard to find a parking during the day.

The hotel is in a very nice position, close to a beach and the city center. Very convenient bar place just downstairs for a cheap but very nice breakfast.

There is no reserved parking available, even if Booking.com states otherwise. We asked the people at the reception and they told us no "aparcamiento", which means no parking in Spanish. There is parking around the hotel, but it may be difficult to get a spot during the day.

Great value, clean and comfy.

The rooms were clean and modern, with extremely comfortable beds and private bathrooms. Staff and location were both great, and restaurant on site where we had a good breakfast - lots of options. Hotel is next to the beach and the centre is a pleasant 25 min walk....buses very easy to use also and many stop nearby. Overall, really good value for money :)

I liked everything. The only reason I would give it a 9 and not a 10 is that the walls were very thin...my friend and I had rooms next door to each other so it was fine, but she did comment that she could hear me snoring next door!

I would return and recommend. Good value for money

Service was very good. Great to have café attached for breakfast which was of good quality and variety. Rooms were good size. Lovely clean bathroom. Great hot shower.

The room overlooked courtyard for washing so didn't feel able to open blinds.

Little gem

Great location, opposite the beach and a 10min stroll to the city centre. Lots of amenities ,cafés, restaurants around. Very clean and comfortable.

Excellent service from all staff. Hotel has a cafe attached so very easy to get a good and well-priced breakfast. Very spacious room size.

Socket placement wasn't very ergonomic, only bedside table on one side of the bed.

Cleanliness, amazing location, the politeness of the staff, food at the restaurant…

The only thing I didn’t like was that the room window was directly in front of a neighbouring building balcony and connected to it.

Would stay there again.

Very helpfull staff. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Nice ambience. I had to check out before breakfast so they me a pack up. Good choice of bars and cafes nearby.

Little gem; little price.

This hotel turned out to be a little gem: great location at the edge of the beach district; ample room in the room; a terrific value for the price. Although older, it was very well maintained and all the important things were up to date.

Wouldn't change a thing.

Very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly Cafe/bar on site. Great location if you like sea front We stayed an extra night Excellent value for money.

Parking wasn't easy although paid parking was offered by the hotel.

Pleasant

The hospitality of the landlady was really nice. She was so kind to prepare a picnic set for us because of our early check-out. room was clean. It was near the stadium of deportivo la coruna, and that was the thing i was looking for🙂

I don't know if it's a constant issue but the smell coming from bathroom was unbearable. There was a very very bad odor, and we had to open the windows all through the night. Because the hotel is by the ocean side, it was cold at night, and my wife got cold. If we weren't staying for a night, we'd definitely want to change our room. The room was small for a family with a kid. Maintenance was not satisfactory. Other than the hospitality i wouldn't recommend especially for a family stay.

Decent hotel near the beach.

Location is great, right next to the beach. Staff were very cooperative when I got there a day early and changed my reservation for no fee.

Restaurant food was pretty poor. At least the set meal was. There were many restaurants nearby that were far better. The room was ok but it had no view at all, probably because of the low price I paid. Fair enough.

Home away from home

The hotel seemed to be family-run. Everyone was welcoming and very friendly. Breakfast was great! We also had dinner which was just like home-cooked. Everything clean and comfortable.

The accommodations were a little dated but very "homey".

A wonderful stay in a warm, friendly and clean hotel which I highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ever so good in the hotels cafe where you can absorb the atmosphere when the locals come in to meet up and play dominos. Although the room was quite basic it was very clean and comfortable and had a great view. The location was ideal - close to the beach and within walking distance to the town centre. Fantastic value for money and will definitely stay again.

There was nothing I didn’t like about this hotel but would perhaps suggest a larger TV in the bedroom and bring British it would have been nice to have had tea and coffee facilities in the room,

A reasonably-priced hotel with a welcoming atmosphere. We'd stay there again.

Room was comfortable and clean, with a good view over the bay to the lighthouse. Breakfast was also good with a range of options. Coffee excellent, as was the freshly-squeezed orange juice each morning. Staff pleasant and friendly towards us- we speak very little Spanish. Restaurant also served reasonably priced meals, although we did not eat there,

It's a bit of a trek to the city centre (20-25 minutes to the old town) which did not bother us too much, but when you're tired in the evening... (A pity the trams along the coast no longer run.) However, taxis stop outside the hotel and are inexpensive.
