I loved the cozy yet open air environment. Perfect location. Friendly staff. Everything was easy.
You can smell the septic lines from the bathroom. But you have to overlook it because it is very common in Latin America.

- clean Hostal well located in the Center of the town
- quick and cheap laundry
- quite some information regarding what to do around
- nice staff
- dormitory very close to the street so it gets noisy in the morning
- doors and windows don’t close very well so they open when there is a bit of wind and can be quite annoying at night

Staff are incredibly friendly with awesome suggestions on what to do and where to eat. Felt like I was staying with friends. Rooms are very well priced. Free breakfast was a nice surprise especially given the price for the room was so low.
Wooden shutter windows let a lot of sound from outside in.

The vibes and the common areas
The brrakfast
Mattresses were old and uncomfortable.
Lots of noises from the street

I paid 28k per night and that even included a breakfast.
I didn't like the mattress. It turned into a v-shape when laying or sitting on it. Also, the staff seemed only interested in giving me commission based tours as recommendations.

I ended up staying a full week here. The location is nice, a short walk to the plaza, but far enough away that it’s not noisy. The dorm rooms are spacious. The hostel is very clean. The common areas are comfortable. The shared kitchen is well supplied. The staff is helpful and kind. The included breakfast was simple but much appreciated.
There was one night where my friend and I got back at midnight and found that we were locked out, and nobody heard our knocks or answered the phone. We ended up staying somewhere else that night. But the hostel refunded that night, and I think the issue has been resolved so that won’t happen in the future.

Excellent mix of travelers, nice social atmosphere, wonderful staff, and great value overall. Really enjoyed the night out in town with the staff.
Dorm beds were a little short for tall people and the rooms were noisy from the street.

Nice staff, good breakfast, kitchen access, clean and good location
Low doorways, I hit my head a bunch of times but hey it's just traditional architecture.

The Bidea staff are excellent. prior to my stay I had many questions and changes. they were flexible with changes and provided prompt, helpful answers. I had to cancel my trip to Filandia due to health issue. I will definitely stay there when I can.

The breakfast was smaller but really good with fresh fruit and homemade bread! Location was great.
The staff weren’t as helpful and at times were a little rude. I had heard really great things about this hostel about activities and was let down. The rooms were a bit damp and the sheet kept coming off of the bed.

Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Quick at replying and thoughtful. Hostel had such a nice vibe and very cozy. Beds very confortable!
The shower had cold water but we just used the common one that had hot water so no issue

I was staying for a night but ended up staying three. The hostel is located two blocks away from Filandia's park. A light breakfast is included, a nice detail I wasn’t expected. The Hostel has a great and warm atmosphere, a lot of common areas to chill, two kitchens with everything you need, everyone is super friendly and happy to help. Thanks to all the staff for such a great star, also, thanks to the volunteers Matilde, Ana and Bruno.

Nice atmosphere and excellent common areas. Good size room and perfect location. Lovely dog roaming around.
Room has no curtains so you are forced to shut the wooden windows and then there is no light.
Noisy street

The Argentinian woman at the front desk can organise everything for your stay in finlandia to be amazing
The room didn't lock and apparently noone cares. Maybe I'm too old for hostels haha.

Lovely hostel with a really nice atmosphere. Their common areas were great, clean and spacious. They had a lot games you could borrow as well. In the morning you get a small breakfast for free, found it quite weird they didn’t mentioned this when I checked in though. It was not really filling, but a nice extra, and you get unlimited coffee and/or tea in the morning.
The staff was friendly and nice.
It was quite noisy at night, you could hear people when they talked outside in the corridor or in the other rooms. Also the noise from the street woke me up in the morning. The shower had awful pressure, and the water didn’t really get that hot.

Great stay in Filandia. This hostel is full of travellers and met amazing people inside. The facilities were great, having a dining space (lobby) very nice, and a small space by the kitchen with good vibes (games, books, instruments..). 2 streets from the main square and quiet. Great value for money, cheapest yet great.
There was only one bathroom with hot water and wasn’t really that hot, but it was never busy to be honest.
