Excellent staff

Food quality could improve. It isn't typical south Indian cuisine taste. Also some maintenance is needed. Painting, wood work needed. But very good staff. Very helpful and well trained .

Food needs to improve. At 8.30 pm, the thali was not available.

We keep coming back to the GRT Madurai

I always stay here with family and we always enjoy coming back to the GRT Madurai. The house keeping staff are exceptional and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

They had new staff who were not locals and have not been trained enough. The hotel seemed to be shorthanded on staff, probably due to COVID restrictions, but they did their best to make ends meet. The quality of the food however was not like previous times.

Breakfast is complimentary every hotel.. but here is paid breakfast so i didn't take my breakfast there . That's the discomfort.

A pleasent stay with the family

The Room was very good, clean and neat folllowing the covid regulations. The Food was homely. The hotel is situated at the centre of the city access to the tourist spots is very easy.

It's not i like but the cost of the food could have been little cheaper so that unnecessary usage of other food apps could have been avoided but it made us to reach the famous restaurants and enjoy the madurai specials. Hotel food is very good if we don't think of the cost.
