Besides the negatives it ended being average.

Lots of things - beautiful wine farm with dam and large room - staff were friendly and it was clean. The breakfast included was very good with lots of different options.

The one light and tv wasn’t working - the bathroom sink drain was blocked and we had to unblock it. The shower was too small

False advertising at it's best!

Nothing!

Booking.com, this time you disappointed us. The images you portrayed for the accommodation we booked and in our booking confirmation were TOTALLY incorrect and NOT the room we were given. I was told by the venue that YOU have not updated your website with the correct images... I blame both yourselves and the accommodation facilities for this false and misleading information. We were given another room, which was just as disappointing but had no further options, so HAD to take it. We chose to upgrade to have a coffee machine in the room, and neither room had this on offer! Unless you call coffee sachets a coffee machine... another false advertising! I will be very interested to see if anyone takes the time to come back to me with an honest reason why you are providing false information. Oh and the view from our room is a car park, lovely! The only positive was the attitude of the staff who really were apologetic, but powerless to make any difference.

Great views

Beautiful setting and friendly staff. Excellent food and wine!

They had so many functions and groups during the day at the restaurant and premises that it was too crowded and we could almost not have food. Our room was not too clean and the curtain came off the railing. Attention to detail missing for what you pay.

Basic accommodation with great restaurant and surroundings.

The restaurant and food were excellent and a big variety to choose from.

The room was basic as well as the furniture. The bed and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The door had an opening at the bottom and little frogs came in during the night. Not a pleasant experience. The curtains were not hanging properly and looked very untidy. We did our own dishes but was not supplied with a drying cloth or kitchen towel. They had a note in the bathroom, asking you to shower for only 3minutes due to a shortage of water, but the outside sprinklers were on 3 hours in the morning and again 3 hours in the afternoon. What a waste of precious water......

El bungalow era muy acogedor, en un entorno muy bonito, limpio y con todo lo necesario.

Lo que dejó mucho que desear fue la cata de vinos, sin explicaciones, vinos muy simples y sin poder degustarlos con una tabla de quesos y embutidos, porque se les había acabado!!!

I appreciated the spectacular view of my room over the dam , the breakfast was to die for and the helpfulness of the staff to secure that you are comfortable and safe. I will definitely book their again..this time for leisure

Superb

The rolling lawns in front of the cottage, to play some games with the children, and the walk around the lake. The restaurant was great with a good bottle of wine to be enjoyed on the terrace, overlooking a vineyard.

It was beautiful 3 days for our team that we have spent on the farm. We enjoyed everything: sightseeing around, lake in the middle of the farm, local wine (which we also bought as a gift for the friends), restaurant- it was opened from the morning until late and it is not usual for this area) Special thanks to the staff: we had a technical problem with the car rented and they helped us a lot to change the car in the best way !

The price was really fair so don’t expect anything luxury -it is good farm and hotel, with all necessary facilities but not for those who look strictly for the luxury stay.

The price

When we arrived we were told that they couldn't find our booking. When they found our booking they said we had to pay. I told the team that I had paid. They said they couldn't see the payment. They then asked me to send proof of payment. I showed them that I had paid. They then asked why my booking fee was low. I've used booking.com a lot and I've never had to produce proof of payment.

See the room in person before you pay. Otherwise go elsewhere.

Parking was easy. The location is convenient.

The room was totally NOT as advertised. Picture a shoe box with a bed in it and old desk in the corner with a stool in front of it. No drinking water. Tired linens. We arrived at the agreed time and had find someone to help us--reception was closed. The restaurant manager had a key in an envelope for us and didn't know the location of the room. We frequently stay at B&Bs in the area where for a bit less money rooms are nice and normally breakfast is included.

It did the job for a night.

The room was conveniently located for a wedding we were attending close by. The staff were friendly.

The room and bathroom were a little 'tired' (basic/old decor and very un-plush towels). The bathroom wasn't 100% clean - the shower was visibly blocked with hair and didn't drain well, which was unpleasant. Based on the reviews here, I'd expected something a little more special, I suppose.

Breakfast was fresh and we live the bread. My classic omelet was filling and warm...my latte was a good tall size cuppa. Luv it.

The rate per night is high. It's midweek ..consider a lesser rate. I could only afford a I night stay. Thx
