Relaxing, central but not crowded, friendly

Location it’s central on the beach for walks and other places to eat. Great mix a people from different countries. Had a community feel. The hotel is not overly restrictive with rules such as pool closing times etc.

The service was slow at the pool, very slow to remove lunch plates if at all. Which is a shame the staff are friendly and pool area is lovely overlooking the beach.

Wir können nur sagen, es war einfach Alles , wirklich Alles wunderbar. Vor Allem, das Personal. Sie lesen einem , jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Das Frühstück ist auch der Hammer.

Spokojná rodinná dovolenka, prídeme znovu

Náš pobyt v Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort bol skvelý hlavne vďaka skvelému hotelovému tímu, ktorý sa staral o naše pohodlie - od recepcie, cez perfektných animátorov v detskom kútiku (špeciálne Mrs Kook, ktorú si naša dcérka veľmi obľúbila a týmto ju pozdravujem zo Slovenska), upratovačku Jip (taktiež pozdravujem) až po pánov z bazéna (pán Shane a Sa, vďaka za hodiny boxu) a ďalším, ktorý sa o nás starali. Hotel ma dobrú polohu, ak si chcete oddýchnuť a zrelaxovať mimo ruchu množstva turistov. V pešej dostupnosti (aj s deťmi) priamo po pláži sú viaceré dobré lokálne reštaurácie - Lomlay Seafood, Be Friend Restaurant Bangsak či Mr Bao Family Restaurant, kde sa viete veľmi dobre najesť prakticky kedykoľvek a za veľmi prijateľne ceny. Neodporúčal by som teda stravovanie v hoteli ani si kupovať kúpony, ktoré hotel ponúka - je to predražené. Samozrejme, v hoteli bolo viac rodín s deťmi, takže sa musíte pripraviť na väčší hluk pri bazéne a počas dňa. Hotel má ale veľké množstvo ležadiel, takže sa dá vybrať čo vám vyhovuje. Tiež som ocenil vždy bezplatné flaše vody na izbe. Cez cestu z hotela je aj menší obchod, kde si viete kúpiť všetko nevyhnutné a prípadne aj vyprať prádlo. Tiež je v okolí viacero rodinných masáži, kde viete relaxovať. Suma sumárum, Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort určite ešte v budúcnosti navštívime.

Ocenil by som novšie vybavenie izieb, väčší výber z menu v reštaurácii - najmä lokálne jedlá. Tiež klíma v spálni bola pomerne hľučná aj na tichom režime. V mori sme sa veľmi nekúpali, lebo boli pomerne veľké vlny a občas tiež aj medúzy, ale to nie je chyba hotela. Bazén to plne vynahradil. Tiež by som povedal, že v hotelovej reštaurácii boli vysoké ceny za jedlo a pitie. Raňajky boli chutné, ale po týždni sme si už veľmi nemali čo vybrať, takže by som uvítal možno viac ovocia. Inak nemám veľmi čo vyktnúť.

Choosing the option for both lunch and dinner was a HUGE MISTAKE! They give you vouchers at the hotel for the restaurant, but the restaurant owner is unbelievably rude. The moment he sees you're using vouchers instead of cash, his attitude sours instantly. To make matters worse, these vouchers don't cover soft drinks or any other beverage, and if you have one, you're barred from getting takeaway. My little boy got hurt and was bleeding, but that didn't matter to this guy, who forced me to stay at the restaurant while everyone paying cash could freely take their meals to go. I complained to the reception desk, but they couldn't care less, giving me nothing but blank smiles.

Séjour inoubliable

Le personnel était très sympathique. Les chambres étaient très propres. La piscine et la plage étaient superbes. Le petit-déjeuner était très bien. Les enfants avaient leur propre chambre, adjacente à la nôtre. C'était super.

Amazing time to relax in a high quality resort

The quality and service is excellent, very nice resort. The room was modern, comfortable and spacious. The area around the pool and the beach is amazing, also the staff is so friendly and always eager to help. There is a good variety at the breakfast buffet. I was also very positively surprised by the activities they offer (yoga, beach volleyball, SUP, Kajak etc. also cooking classes and other activities)

Nothing that I didn’t like. Would just be cool if there are more slots available for the activities offered (yoga, Thai boxing, also transfer to city) as we tried to book slots a couple of times in advance, but it was always booked

Bästa value for money som vi har bott på i khao lak

Nytt, fräscht, fantastiskt personal, otrolig strand, otrolig pool (fräschaste poolen vi badat i i Thailand), otroligt value for money, skönt att det inte ligger precis bredvid massor med tingel tangel. En HELT OTROLIGT proffsig kids club.

Lite dyrt i hotell-baren, saknade lounge-area.

2 Wochen im Paradies

Das Outrigger ist wirklich ein Traum! Die Lage ist der Wahnsinn! Mit direktem Strandzugang, Liegen am Strand und langem breitem Sandstrand ohne Menschen! Ob Muscheln sammeln oder einfach nur im warmen Wasser dahindümpeln, einfach ein Paradies! Das Hotel ist super sauber, schöne große Zimmer, es fehlt an nichts! Personal überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend! Nach ein paar Tagen wird man sogar mit Namen gegrüßt und fühlt sich wie zuhause! Unser Sohn (6 Jahre)! konnte auch einfach mal alleine zum Strand oder Pool laufen! Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich und es fehlt an nichts! Wir haben nur im Hotel gegessen weil es und dort so gut gefallen hat und es ist für jeden etwas dabei! Es gibt eine tolle Kinderkarte und unserem wirklich essenstechnisch schwieriger Sohn hat alles geschmeckt! Mittags konnte man sich einfach Essen auf die Liege bestellen! Kinder Club war auch super, es wurden immer neue nette Sachen gebastelt und sich auch mit den Kindern richtig beschäftigt, kein TV!

Was man verbessern könnte ist die Tür zum Frühstücksraum! Wir haben immer auf der Terrasse gefrühstückt und man muss jedesmal wenn man hinein und hinauswill diese Türe anfassen! Da wäre vielleicht eine elektrische Türe die bessere Lösung!

Felt like refreshed.

I like especially the staff and activities like water activities it’s complimentary for an hour (SUP, canoeing), and daily activities volleyball and football special thanks to Sports Team (Baw, Sa, Tum, Shene, Min, Ming), I would like mention about the front desk staff especially Oxana was very pleasant and helpful she is literally everywhere when you need assistance also special thanks for the (pla,poppy,mint,pim) in the front desk they helped me to manage take a shower in a room before my transfer.

Low season is challenging. however, no compromise the quality as it not help to increase your occupa

The staff were nice, especially front desh and housekeeper.

Only one restaurant was open at the time, food were average, tge menu doesnt match with whay we reveived, banana slip was served without sauce, calamari served with mayo instead of aioli, etc. The breakfast wasnt up to date, breads were dry not fresh at all, bacon and sausage look like 7 eleven, no imported butter.

We will always go back here

Everything about this place is fantastic! The place is beautiful and the beach wonderful and secluded (in May when we were here). For families we can highly highly recommend it. It has a great inside play room that has so many fun things and wonderful activities every day. Outside playarea as well. But the accommodation and staff in general are stars!!! So kind and caring of your need in many cases. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Outstanding staff and relaxation experience

I usually don't review hotels but had to make an exception for the fantastic staff and hospitality at Outrigger Khao Lak. I stay at many hotels and never experienced such accommodating, understanding staff that truly go above and beyond for the guests. The resort is very relaxing, the pool right next to the beach is amazing, the beach itself is beautiful, and again, the staff is just so so nice. I truly had an amazing stay.

My only bad experience was with the food. The burger I ordered made me a bit sick. My partner didn't have any problems with the Thai food she ordered. That being said, the beach outside the hotel has some fantastic restaurants, so I wouldn't let this affect my decision so much anyways. It was all amazing otherwise.

Staff are friendly and willing to assist, however do need some more training.

Great place to stay

The resort was amazing and had one of the nicest pools ever. Free SUP and kayaks were available. Would definitely stay there again and more than happy to recommend.

Prices were a little bit dearer at the resort restaurant. We mostly ate and drank at nearby bars/restaurants along the water
