Spacious room in a nice location. Excellent breakfast and staff.

Excellent breakfast! Helpful staff. Secure storage for bikes. Lovely location, right on the old town Square. However, this did mean there was some noise at night from local cafes and restaurants. They provided ear plugs for the church bells! Thoughtful touch, which also helped with some of the other noise.

Nice place location with great breakfast

The restaurant and rooms are super cozy and the staff was great.

Deep buzzing noise from the kitchen, but earplugs were available in the room and during the night the noise was gone, as the kitchen was closed.

I enjoyed staying at this place and definitely the staff made our stay so amazing.... they were so welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was lovely too and the neighborhood was so relaxing:)

Repeat visit to this little excellent establishment

Amazing staff and customer service. Food is consistently very good. Very good value for money.

Breakfast not starting earlier than 08:30 however the takeaway breakfast is really good - so it is not that I didn’t like it but just a note. Staff are always really accommodating with takeaway breakfast and leave it for you to pick up and take with you.

Small hotel, main business is restaurant downstairs Centrally located Very friendly staff Steep stairs to reach hotel rooms on 1st floor, but staff will help with the luggage Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was very nice!

Pleasant one night stay !

Wow ! Excellent stay with friendly staff and good food. Good breakfast with a personal touch I would say. In close proximity of shops and restaurants. I liked the little "bar fridge" working on an honesty system in the "passage" of the hotel.

Not really and issue but be aware of the stairs, as mentioned in other reviews !

This hotel was a cozy and quaint accommodation with a warm and pleasant ambience. The owners and staff were all very polite, friendly and professional with a warm and respectful attitude. This hotel was our home for two weeks and we could not of picked a better place in our opinion. We felt very much at home. When we return to the Netherlands, the Wapen will be our first choice.

If I had to complain, the Wi-Fi was not working properly was my only complaint. We mentioned it and were advised that they indeed were having issues and were in the the process of rectifying the problem. Technical problems do occur.

Our stay was very memorable,it ticks all the boxes well done to this team of efficient hosts

very clean,very comfortable food was amazing and staff were wonderful.We intend to go back here next year.

Not a lot not to like.Just small steps to get to bedroom but staff were very attentative to us and took the cases up stairs.

Very pleasant stay :)

The hotel is small, but very nice! It is located right next to the church - for parking you may look at the streets around or the bigger parking spaces in 5 mins walking distance. In the evenings & on Sunday’s it is for free w/o time limitation. The hotel is part of a restaurant which serves really nice food & a great breakfast is included in the price. They have a narrow staircase to the rooms on the first floor, no elevator. The room was quite hot, but they had a fan placed in front of the bed. Bathroom was small, but clean & bright. Slept really well.

It might get a bit loud in the evenings when they clean the kitchen - my room was right above it. I had earplugs though, so it was alright.

Lovely one night stay

Great beds, fantastic shower. Excellent value for money. Excellent breakfast (the ham was insanely good!) Most of all: all of the staff were incredibly friendly and personable without being too “in your face”.

The accommodation is simple- but seriously, the value for money is fabulous so can’t complain!

Conveniently located

Super helpful responsive staff. Appreciated the proximity to the tulips and the beach. Right in the center of town so lots of grocery, food cart, shopping, and places to eat. A quick overnight stay, but very much enjoyed my visit.

This isn’t a dislike - just a fact. The room I was in was comfortable and spacious, but close to the kitchen and dining area so hear the activity and musics from the kitchen. Of course, it is COVID so the dining room was closed.
