Todella rauhallinen paikka. Linturetkellä opas erittäin asiantunteva ja ystävällinen. Illalla hyvin tunnelmallista. Erinomainen paikka lintuharrastajille. Soveltuu myös hyvin yhden yön tukikohdaksi
Paljon säkökatkoja yöllä, jotka aiheuttivat ilmastointilaitteen piippailuja todella monta kertaa.

The environment is fantastic and relaxing. Love birds songs and they were many species.

We really liked both guys called Lamin (the supervisor and the one among the waiter staff) as he was very accomodating and happy to help us.
We really liked the trip to Jufureh and James Island.
The manager seemed to be very busy.
There was no wifi.
We didn't really like the boat tour as we did not see any crocodiles (nor did any of the other toursits we met) although the description was very promising.

Great hotel but ...
Too bad that the guide didn't get a free room. That was a deal breaker for us. We wouldn't return anymore if this issue isn't resolved. Enjoying the surroundings and the hotel while your guide has to sleep in his car is far beyond fun. We even payed an extra room for one night so our guide could wash up decently and get a good night's rest. Very disappointing!

A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Lovely staff and very comfy rooms.
Some aircon might have been nice as it was very hot but the deluxe rooms had fans

Gorgeous location by the bolong. Lovely, stylish restaurant area. Good food.
We enjoyed an early morning boat trip on the bolong, followed by cycling around the local village.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Our superior room was pleasant with bathroom, comfortable bed, fan and verandah.
Would love to stay again and recommend.
Probably the nicest accommodation upriver in The Gambia.
Cold water only in the shower, but not a big problem. Otherwise all good.

Location was amazing right near the river and amongst nature birds monkeys amazing flowers and plant life. Was so peaceful. I have stayed in many hotels but what also topped this one was the manager Yahya excellent customer service always willing to help with anything and always available when ever required assistance with anything Yahya went above and beyond his duties it is always refreshing to meet some one with excellent customer services skills it is quite rare. 110% thank you Yahya for making my husband and I stay amazing. Felt like I stayed in Paradise. It was beautiful. If you want tranquillity this is the most beautiful place I have stayed at for along time you will definitely get that. Also a 45 minutes walk to the other lodge is also amazing the village people so friendly welcoming the other lodge up the road is absolutely stunning I would have stayed there also but time did not permit but had lovely food. Mention Lamin too the room cleaner he left each day on our bed amazing and incredible towel caricatures for example two swans and another day a teddy bear made out of towels with little notes saying have a nice day was the wow factor indeed top quality.
There wasn't anything we didn't like. But a little buffer breakfast would be lovely not lots of food but a little buffer breakfast so can help yourself and top up on coffee/juice if required.
The chef was excellent also.

The property is gorgeous - so much time, effort and money has gone into making it absolutely lovely. I loved the various chill out zones and relaxed vibe.
No hot water for a shower.
Staff lovely but disorganised, we kept being told wrong information which was very frustrating. A couple of issues with the bill too but these were sorted easily.
The staff have to do multiple jobs so will be serving breakfast and then suddenly going on a trip and so not around. Made it difficult to know who to look for and ask for things. The place has a chilled vibe but it doesn’t go both ways - we waited ages for breakfast to then be told we couldn’t have any more tea/coffee as it was too late. However we had waited for 30 mins for them. Would be much better if one person did one job and not multiple roles.

Lovely location. Buildings beautifully made. Restaurant building stunning.
Lack of response from requests for necessities which should have been included. Poor communication from staff. Food repetitive and unimaginative. No mosquito net, no toilet paper and only one small towel for a couple.

Food was really nice, we stayed in the wood cabins which were lovely, there was lots of monkeys, birds and lizards all around.
We were happy with everything.

The lodge was wonderfully quiet and peaceful with only the sound of the birds twittering. There were lots of cushions and shady sitting/bird watching places. The rooms were well spaced apart and a variety of styles.
I stayed in a wooden house...I had requested a quiet private area and Mark had kindly reserved the exact one I would have chosen.
The bed was very comfortable, the bedding changed every day. There was a fan but no mosquito net although I didn't see many. I appreciated the lined curtains that blocked out the night lights.
Nice arty style touches
The food was very good, I liked the 'real' potato chips and the meaty butterfish.. Breakfast was good...eggs of choice, local fresh bread and homemade mango jam. Would have liked 'real' ground coffee and good butter
The kitchen staff, Mariatou and Mariama were very friendly and kind, Yaya professional
I was happy there was no music while I was there
Fairly easy to get to by public transport
Fresh fruit and coffee would have enhanced my breakfast experience
For me personally I would like dark nights...no light pollution
