Very pleasant hostal, in a green environment. Quiet and relaxed. Good helpful people.
It' 's in between the beach and the town, in an unpleasant not very safe area.

Hermoso parque, super tranquilo. Abrazo enorme.

Cabins are fabulous, we stayed in 2 different ones during our stay. both great.
Location is a little difficult to get to along a rough road , but that’s not the fault of the property

The place was charming.
The room was hot and we couldn’t open the window because of mosquitoes. No screens.

everything is pretty nice, especially the garden and the common area, lovely details. the bed of our room was very comfy. the owner is very helpful and courteous, we arrived very late and she was waiting to welcome us. for us it was one of the best accommodations in Chile.
it’s more nice to have a car or using Uber as the lodge is not in the center.

fantastic Hobbit-like ‘tipi’ conveniently located near beach, restaurants and other fun. private bathroom, little patio - go!
after a lot of thinking: there was no hot water in the shower one morning
7.0 / 10.0
The garden is beautiful, the kitchen was well equipped, and it was quite close to both the beach, the city centre and a shopping centre (and the bus station). The hot water was consistent.
Depending on who you are, this might be a small or big issue. There are some dogs on the property who are sweet and friendly, but not at all trained - this causes problems because:
A) they might keep you up at night barking.
B) they might jump up at you (I got my stomach inadvertently scratched by one of them), which you might not like.
C) one day they followed us out of the hostel and got into some fights with other dogs in the neighbourhood. They would bark aggressively at each other, and then run towards us to protect them, and then get excited and start nipping at each other while aggressively growling. We were essentially trapped between two groups of dogs at each end of the road and the hostel's dogs. They were over excited and possibly aggressive and so this was a pretty unpleasant experience.
The owner says they've tried training the dogs, but this training has obviously not been consistent.

Nice place and friendly staff. The apartment is very beautiful. Close to the beach and the city.
There are some cute dogs at the place. The only problem is, that they won’t leave you alone. They even followed us for a 10 km run at the beach and tried to enter the supermarket with us so one of us had to wait outside. Can be a little bit annoying. It changed when we got a car and left the place with it.
The street to the hotel is a little bit off the tracks. Wouldn’t recommend to walk there in the dark.

However, the place remains relatively quiet, close to the beach, the beds are comfortable and the cabins are well equipped.
I was quite disappointed with my stay at el Arbol Ecolodge because the hotel managers were completely absent. We had to wait almost an hour to be received at our arrival because there was no one there. At the time of the departure, likewise we had to wait one hour to return the keys and to obtain the change of our payment which we had carried out two days before. I don't find it normal that the hotel managers desert and that there is nobody there in case of need. Fortunately the housekeeper was there, she was very pleasant and was able to help us but I don't think that's her job. I would also like to point out that the wifi listed as available in the common areas does not work at all.

very lovely green oasis
there are some details missing, especially for the price. like some lamps along the walkways etc

It’s the third time we stayed here.
I love the location- 10mins from the beach and beautiful grounds.
The most comfortable beds and lovely staff.

The location is perfect- feels like in the middle of nowhere but only 10 mins walk to a supermarket and 10 mins walk to the beach. We stayed in a very comfortable, brand new cabana with a little kitchenette. Super comfy bed and good shower. Lovely staff
The kitchenette could do with some more utensils like spatula or strainer but not a big deal as there was also a communal kitchen in the complex
