Keep away from this hotel!

Hotel adventures! NEVER KNOW WHAT EXPECTS YOU IN HOTEL! First: when I arrived, the hotel met me with disgusting smell ( it was look like a spoiled fish or shrimps). Might be it's ok for hotel where kitchen of sea food? Second: the room was large, but very shebby and requires some reconstruction. The light is not enough. The ventilation in the bathroom did not properly work. There weren't any sleepers, coats, covers. Might be they exist ( because we have seen them in hall wardrobe, but they wasn't in number!). The blanket wasn't found too. Third : the swimming pool very small (approximately 3x3m), so don't expect to swim there. We didn't take this paid option. Fourth : a bit far away from city centre and railway station, approximately 15-20 min for small city it's a lot. UNEXPECTED RULES OF THIS HOTEL: YOU HAVE TO PAY A PENALTY FOR BREAKFAST IF YOU HAVEN'T EATEN UP THE WHOLE FOOD WHICH YOU HAVE TAKEN! YOU MUST PAY EXTRA 5 EURO FOR EACH PIECE OF FOOD (FOR EXAMPLE, PIECE OF CAKE OR CROUSSAN IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE IT AWAY) ! YOU HAVE TO BE READY TO PAY CITY TAX ADDITIONALLY! CHECK THE AMOUNT OF CITY TAX! (if you see the price for number and booking system convinces that you don't have to pay anymore after booking, be aware that city tax doesn't included in the price, and will know about it only when you check out ). I'd be happy, if hotel administration adds some comments and provide changes for improvements the service of hotel. Provide the information to guests with rules for hotel breakfast: Attention - you must to pay penalty, if you didn't finish your breakfast! Provide the price for each item of food and familirate guest how much he must pay if he take extra piece of items. Inform the guest for city tax before he arrive or when he check in. These information should written clear and understandable , like a prohibition of smoking!

ATTEMPTS TO FRAUD AND DECEPTION GUESTS The lady, who served the kitchen didn't allowed us to pick up the piece of cake which we have already bite off! She start to scream something, and then invited guy from reception who spoke in English , then he explained us : if we would like to take away this piece of cake we had to pays extra 5 euro (!). I said him that this quote strange why they didn't allow me to finish this piece of cake in my room, because if I leave it here , they anyway throw it away! I first time seen this attitude! When I checked out the guy from reception receptionist, who half hours ago didn't allow to finish my breakfast told me that we HAVE TO PAY A PENALTY FOR BREAKFAST BECAUSE WE DIDN'T EAT UP THE WHOLE FOOD WHICH WE HAVE TAKEN! I asked him to show me where have these rules written ? If these strange rules exist why the guests of hotel have not informed about it in advance ? He remained silent. He started to insist that we had to pay penalty for breakfast or we have to finished our breakfast! I said ok, I didn't mind to eaten up my breakfast which I had have taken 30 min ago (this piece of cake). But surprisingly this guy tried to deceive me , he said that time for breakfast was gone, and I had to eat only in breakfast time from 7: 00 - 10:00 ! When I noticed that now is only 9:30 so I have at least 30 min he invited me to restaurant but my poor piece of cake has already thrown away! After this he has agreed, that we don't have to pay penalty. Then he tried to deceive me again, he asked to pay city tax 5 euro. When I showed him apps where was written that city tax is only 4 euro he accepted with this.

Junto al estadio de Vicenza

Bien ubicado tanto para el centro (transporte público) como para ver las villas de Palladio. Personal muy amable. Habitación cómoda con cama abatible para la peque y un frigo de minibar (vacío), para poder guardar nuestras compras de alimentación.

Mesa de la terraza muy sucia cuando llegamos (única opción para cenar en la habitación, habiendo un supermercado en el propio hotel), pero el amable personal nos puso un mantel.

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichlich. Das Personal zuvorkommend und ausgesprochen nett. Es wurde jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Das Restaurant verfügt über eine sehr gute Küche sowie nettes, qualifiziertes Personal.

Kein deutscher Fernsehsender, da wir gerne Nachrichten täglich sehen.

Erstklassiges Hotel mit guter Verbindung in die historische Stadt

Moderne grosse Zimmer, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr gutes, frisches Frühstücksbüffet mit frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen ((Omelette, Spiegeleier, etc) frisch gepresster Orangensaft, schöner Spabereich. Zu Fuss ca 20 Min vom Hauptbahnhof. Bus direkt vor Hotel, fährt ca alle 20 Min ins Stadtzentrum.

Very clean, excellent breakfast

The hotel is perfectly located, it is few minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes from the city center. We felt very comfortable and welcomed.

The extra third bed is small, it is suitable for children.

Won't stay here again

Disastrous. You pay for a swimming pool which does not exist

I did not like the location. Close to a supermarket with a lot of disgusting smelling close to the parking. The smell reached even inside the hotel. The joke is the swimming pool which is ridiculously small. It is not even possible to call it a pool. It is really misleading for the traveller. The hotel is not well located quite far from the city centre if you do not have a car. The breakfast room was smelling; this was not pleasant. Also staff taking care of the rooms is a bit intrusive in the morning. Very excessive price for a hotel of this poor quality called four stars palace. Very disappointing

nice pool in the city

we booked this because we wanted a night in the city but also use the pool next day. perfect place. The woman that checked us in and the girl at the bar were very friendly. we arrived around 7pm and checked out next day. we were able to use the pool all day which was amazing!!

Very friendly personnel, in the hotel and their restaurant!

The airconditioning in the hotel was switched off, so we couldn't use it in the room. We were told it was a matter of days, but with the city sounds around the hotel, opening the window during evening and night was not really an option for fresh air.

Excellent and responsive staff. Rooms are extremely clean and the bed comfortable.

The hotel check-in process is extremely smooth and the staff exceptional. The hotel provides a complimentary glass of wine or coffee and there are complimentary bottles of water in the room. This is not typical of most hotels and very much appreciated. The hotel restaurant is one of the best in the area.

The breakfast quality has degraded somewhat from previous visits. The scrambled eggs and bacon were extremely salty and the variety of foods less than before. Also, the hotel advertises breakfast begins at 7:00 a.m. however when I arrived at that time, it was obvious that many individuals had already eaten. Many breakfast items were gone and it took some time for the staff to replenish.

Convenient to the Center

We booked a room at this hotel because of the restaurant. It has been one of our favorite restaurants in Italy for over 20 years. This was our first stay at the hotel. The beds were very comfortable. Great shower. There was a small refrigerator which was convenient. Breakfast was good with a nice variety- even fresh squeezed juices. Plenty of free parking. It is a quick drive to town. Walking is also possible and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel.

We had booked a business twin room. A few days before we arrived (outside of the cancellation policy), they wrote to tell us that we could not stay in a business room because we have a small dog. We were "upgraded" to a larger room with a balcony on the front of the hotel. Unfortunately, rooms on the front face a busy street. When we asked if we could have a room on the back, we were told that all of those rooms were taken. We were also told that the train runs along the back of the hotel and that the street on the front is quiet at night this time of year (December). Although there was traffic noise all night, it was quiet in the room with the balcony doors closed. However, we were a little disappointed because we like to sleep with windows open and fresh air. It would not be a problem with the a/c in the summer months.

I loved it.

The room was spacious and had enough facilities for 4 people. The balcony was well-kept. The staff was wonderful and kind, the breakfast was great with so much variety, and the restaurant downstairs was amazing.

I loved the beds myself, but I can see how some people might think they are too firm.

Overall OK, not great but not bad.

It was clean and staff was helpful Staff in restaurant was great.

No ice machine, had to constantly bug staff for ice. Could not connect firestick to TV, mounted it a way to intentional block it. In todays world everyone who travels a lot takes a firestick with them as they stream services (VPN). Parking, and lack there of. During lunch/dinner entire lot taken by people eating in restaurant.

The hotel is generally a good value and the staff is very helpfull.

I used your laundry service. Terrible mistake!!!! The people doing the laundry used some type of detergent or fabric softener that left my clothes unusable. The clothing has now been rewashed 3 times, soaked in baking soda, resoaked in white vinegar and still the stench persists. I will probably have to dispose of 2 new dress shirts, a pair of dress slacks, 6 pair of socks, and 3 t-shirts. Do not use this hotels laundry service!!!!!
