Nice stay in Sancerre. Accommodations were comfortable, Owners were delightful. The best breakfast of our trip, serving fresh, homemade jams and yogurt.

Great welcome from our hosts. Lovely lodgings and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with fresh home baked bread every morning and homemade jams. House is centrally located so all restaurants and town centre are on the doorstep.

Excellent location. Very helpful 'patron' with good English. Interestingly quirky suite

Bed somewhat firm and pillows over-chunky. Property did not exactly meet our expectations, but that's not necessarily a bad thing...we came to like it all the same...mind your head! Suite had good equipment for making morning tea/coffee with kettle and fridge etc but lacked any actual tea or milk!

Would definitely recommend!

Best breakfast I’ve had at a bnb! Location was perfect and the accommodation was rustic and beautiful. The garden was also lovely and was dog proof which was ideal for us!

No coffee on offer before 8:30am which was difficult for the early rising coffee addicts among us! A self-service coffee station in the bedroom or dining room would have been ideal. Parking was also a nightmare - I don’t think we were given instructions for the ‘free parking’ so we had to drive around the tiny streets of sancerre to find somewhere.

Large suite and very good location for central Sancerre A lovely breakfast, all homemade and fresh. delightful hosts as well. we really enjoyed our stay

Not a dislike but the property is not easy to get to by car due to one way street’s and narrow roads. we found it easier to park on the Ramparts and walk up

A lovely facinated place

Large clean room nicely decorated, comfort large bed, large nice bathroom , quiet place with a nice garden view, good breakfast. very friendly staff. Highly recommended !

Lovely small, friendly place to stay

Wonderful welcome from the owners who were helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and offered all we needed for our stay. Breakfast offered home made products and locally sourced ingredients.

The apartment was very hot when we arrived, being high up the breeze when we opened the windows cooled it down - but not until after sunset.

Everything, from check in to check out was great. Very helpful staff. Awesome homemade bread and jams for breakfast with local products. We would most def go back.

No parking nearby. All rooms up two very steep flights of steps. Hard beds. Thin bath towels.

wonderful family owned hotel

We had a wonderful stay at this family owned hotel. The hosts are super friendly. The hotel is located in a historic building with big garden. It is very nice decorated and well kept. The rooms are very big, with a lot of charm. Location is perfect. Breakfast is all home made by the hosts and all organic without any food packaging. We can really recommend this property and hope to return some day.
