Merveilleux

La vue sur la'mer depuis la chambre La piscine , vue incroyable ! Le hamac sur la terrasse de la chambre Petit dej top ( le lak lak) L emplacement parfait , les lieux bien entretenus , le'personnel adorable.

Pression de la douche faible Pas d eau chaude Les escaliers mais c est ce qui donne du charme au lieu , la belle vue se mérite !

The sea on my doorstep

Staff were very kind and accommodating as I requested a change of room due to noise from the road and they helped. I was moved to a beautiful room with the beach on my door step which was just wonderful. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed comfortable, and I liked that it has mosquito net. The bathroom is very nice too. I enjoyed having a deck at the front to relax. There is air conditioner too, and staff clean and tidy the room everyday. For breakfast I used to order banana pancake which was nice. The swimming pool with sea view is great. There are also 2 massage therapists that wonder around and I had 2 massage and were great. I found it pretty good, and mostly good value for money. I also good help to organise snorkeling and to go finishing at sunrise which was beautiful. They also assist if you need a taxi and it is not easy to find otherwise. WiFi worked well during my stay as well when I did a zoom call.

It would have been helpful having the water dispenser somewhere where we can help ourselves without having to wait for a staff member to be around to refill the bottle. But it's not a big thing. Also depending on which room, it can be quite noisy by the road. But it was sorted when I moved to a room by the sea, on the other side of the road. This means I had to cross the road to access the swimming pool but that was not a problem for me, and I had a swim in the sea most of the time anyways. (I am refering to the standard rooms. If you upgrade, bamboo hill rooms are further up the hill next to the swimming pool which looked very nice as well)

Lovely place to stay with beach view

The staff were pleasant, attentive and helpful. It was clean when we arrived and they emptied the boss during our stay and fixed the room. Also a good location in Amed, you can rent scooters and also eat food at the place.

발리와서 가장 관리 잘된 수영장(최대수심 1.8m)과 깨끗한 수질 넓어서 수영하기가 좋았음. 식사로는 바나나 주스 와 과일들이 좋음 그리고 깨끗한 방과 시설들. 친절한 직원들. 그리고 저녁에는 직원들이 불침범을 서서 꽤나 안전함을 느낌

아침 식사가 너무 짬.(무얼 시키든 짜고 메뉴가 없음 그냥 먹을만한게 없음) 그래서 밥과 물을 돈주고 별도로 사먹음. 오믈렛은 그냥 후라이에 야채 넣은것. 최대 단점 2가지 1. 뜨거운물이 안나오고 수압이 엄청 약함(수차례 요청하였으나. 수도를 오른쪽으로만 틀면 나온다고 하고 반응이 없음.) 샤워 수압이 너무 약함(600ml 생수병 담는데만 20-30초가 걸림) 2. wifi는 있으나 작동안한다고 봐야함. 수신 신호는 강하지만 데이터 패킷 속도가 너무 느려 통신이 안된다고 봐야함. 굳이 뽑은 단점 식사 패키지는 있으나 메뉴가 너무 단촐함.(근데 이곤 다른 숙소로 이동했어도 동일하여 단점은 아닌듯 -비교대상 seamount hotel)

My room didn’t have a Hammock like the pictures. The shower was up too high and didn’t have an option to point down so I had to hold it to take my shower which doesn’t work well for me because I like using two hands when I shower. But there was plenty of nice hot water!

Perfekte Lage zum Schnorcheln

Bungalow direkt am Strand, wo sofort ein Korallenriff beginnt. Sehr freundliches Personal, das uns das Frühstück sogar bis zu unserem Bungalow getragen hat. Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Netter Pool.

Kakerlaken im Zimmer (es wird aber täglich gereinigt), leider keine Hängematte (die anderen Bungalows haben aber eine), Schimmel an den Wänden, kleines (aber gutes) Frühstück

A gem at Amed

Very neat and beautifully located overlooking the ocean. Beautiful swimming pool in a tropical garden with a view on the ocean too. The Bali Bamboo restaurant is really tasty. Try the grilled barracuda!

The photos don't do it justice. Perfect location for snorkelling and restaurants. Staff were all super lovely and helpful, room was very clean and comfortable, pool has a beautiful view. Good selection for breakfast. Overall great value for money, would definitely stay again.

This hotel gives you front rows to the Jemeluk bay.

Although our rooms on the seaside were rather basic, we got first row access to the beach, so the high tide almost reached our porch :) , and we loved watching the sea from the patio. The staff (owner and sons) were very friendly, and helpful. The included breakfast was very tasty, as well as the restaurant that belonged to the hotel. Both the air-conditioner and the fridge were OK, and the shower had hot water.

The beachfront rooms could use a small touch of maintenance. One of the rooms had a broken shower hose.

Rustic beach cottages on Jemeluk Bay

Situated in front of Jemeluk Bay with snorkeling 🤿 at your doorstep. Wonderful and attentive local staff and owner. The hotel is rustic but it’s well priced and situated right on Jemeluk Bay. The local business owners and staff are great, and we enjoyed making friends with some of the locals in town.

Be wary of the masseuse ladies who operate in the area and service the hotel guests. They wear pink polo shirts and solicit on the street. My partner fell asleep during his massage as when he woke up, the money was gone from his pockets. Overall, in Amed there is aggressive selling of saris, sunglasses and bracelets on the beach by locals, including a band of children who rove the beach dawn till dusk. The sellers approach you from the beach even when you are sitting inside a restaurant enjoying a meal. We eventually left as it became exhausting to deal with, despite it being a beautiful place.

Easy stay helpful staff great pool!

Everything as described and pictured. Lovely sea views , cool little patio with hammock and fridge. Rooms are comfy and clean good aircon. The staff are lovely made breakfast early when we dived without asking and accommodated our changed schedule no problem. Restaurant operated across road at beach great for meals. All easy breezy , no hassle here. Enjoy!

SEA VIEW LIFE

The facilities are stunning, you can watch the sunrise pretty much from every room (they are all sea view!!!), awesome swimming pool view, and you can hear the waves from bed...what else do you need? Ah, and the shower!!!!

Relaxing in amazing surroundings

The property is beautiful with great view from almost every room. Pool was perfect, also for the kids. Breakfast is fine - omelette, fruit and coffee. Close to nice cafés, restaurants and beach. Great snorkelling adventures right outside the door!

Lot of dog barking and roosters crowning at all times. The owner is helpful but also seems a little pushy at times.

A lovely bungalow home surrounded by beautiful garden and an incredible pool.

We loved our night’s stay in Bamboo, the pool was amazing with a gorgeous sea view and really beautiful greenery surrounding the property. A short walk to some great food and a clean and homely bungalow style room.

Friendly owner, room worn and of lower standard than what the pictures showed. Good service.

Owner was very helpful when I asked to change rooms because of cigarette smell in the original room. Great location, rented the room right on the beach with a gorgeous view.

Overall the standard is passable, but if you're expecting high standards, this might not be the best choice for you. The building is very old and worn, and the interior shows that it's been well used. If you're looking for a place to crash after a party it works fine. Lots of cobwebs, dust and worn curtains/mosquito nets. The original room smelled so badly of cigarettes that I had to ask to change rooms. The owner was very understanding and arranged for me to stay in the other room straight away. The new room didn't have running water in the sink in the bathroom. The staff was friendly.

Very good

The location is beautiful and the place is clean and comfortable. At the beginning we had an issue and wanted to move to another room and the staff were so helpful. we also liked the pool and the hotel restaurant is excellent… we kept coming back for different meals… I totally recommend eating lunch/dinner there!

The room which is sea front has a very strong unpleasant smell! We didn’t really like this and we moved to one of the rooms on the other side of the road which is sea view.

Well maintained & spotless budget stay

The staff is very professional & friendly. Delicious breakfast options. My room (Bamboo Bali Cottage) was spotlessly clean (I came here after a disappointing experience in another guesthouse in Amed) & came with direct access to the beach / seaside and snorkeling spots.

Excellent value for money and location

- Location is perfect. Contrary to what booking indicates, there is not really a city centre in Amed. It is more of a long stretch along the coast. Bamboo Bali is right in the middle, and in front of the best snorkelling spots. - Owner and staff were helpful, arranging transport from/to/within Amed. They also pointed us to a good diving school, helped us with the laundry, and rented snorkelling gear. - Unlike some earlier reviews, the room was cleaned everyday. - The Warung operated by Bamoo Bali at the beach is also pretty good.

- We only had warm water on the first day.

Good for one night

A wonderful view overlooking the harbour, after we moved from our original room. The better rooms are up the hill more. The infinity style pool, which was a good size. It’s a basic room, as advertised, but we didn’t pay much and only stayed a night. On rather a busy road but became surprisingly quiet early into the night. Restaurants close by. Easy walk to the ferry to go to the Gili islands.

The original room had air conditioning that didn’t work. However, in the second room the toilet did not flush well at all. The place could have been cleaner. No ATM’s were working within walking distance so had to change at a money changer. This could have been a problem as the place only accepts cash. The whole place could do with maintenance and TLC.

Bungalows we’re ok- view excellent. They were clean, just old. If possible, the newer rooms - Bamboo Bali Hill are much better value. We didn’t book in advance, so none available. If we could have had these rooms, ratings would have been near perfect for the value for money. manager Gede is lovely.

Best NY stay!

Everything was amazing! Our room was on the hill and the view of the sea was inspiring and relaxing, really nice comfortable beds, a hammock, and a soft tanning bed are perfect add-ons to the comfort and leisure. Breakfast has a menu with a good variety, banana pancakes are delish 😋 Overall best stay! The owner is very honest, sweet, caring and attentive! thank you 🙏🏻

Superb

Cute little paradise. Pool was amazing, houses were just bigg enough. It is close to restaurants and good snorkling spots. Their reataurant has the absolute best seafood - specialy grilled fishes. They have the best price for motor bike and taxi rental. We would love to return. The open shower was a unike experience (sometimes good sometimes bad).

The wather pressure on the shower was really bad.

Beautiful place, but the vibe felt weird.

The view from our room and the pool was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

It might have been the owners of the hotel, or other guests. But every morning and sometimes at night, they would be playing music at very high volumes, or playing mobile games while connected to the speakers, and when we talked to the staff about it, they told us that they really didn't dare to do anything about it.
