Hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt

Die Besitzerin Marina ist eine sehr herzliche und liebe Person. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl bei ihr. Das Zimmer war einfach, aber ausreichend. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dahin kommen.

Die Lage ist nicht so optimal. Es liegt sehr nahe an den Wasserfällen, aber ansonsten gibt es in der Umgebung nichts. Wenn man sich einen Roller ausleiht, ist das allerdings kein Problem.

Fantastic budget accomodation, great location

Fantastic stay for what you are paying (very affordable). Sure there are ants in the room, but this is to be expected for the price! Staff are very friendly, Marina welcomed us in as family and showed us some of her edible plants on her land. She cooked us some of the best food we ate on the island (breakfast and dinner available by request). Great location to waterfalls, balette tree and access to mountains. Really, it's central to everything but you need a motorbike (which she rents for cheapest on the island) to explore. Mad Monkey is across the road for food or meeting people. Also there is karaoke machine, we had a lot of fun singing with the family one night :)

가격에 비해 만족스럽다. 매우 저렴하지만 필요한 것은 다 있었다. 에어컨은 없지만 선풍기가 있어서 괜찮았다. 선풍기 소리가 조금 커서 세게 틀면 신경 쓰일 수 있다. 따뜻한 샤워는 없었지만 예약하기 전부터 알고 있었기에 괜찮았다. 위치는 의외로 엄청 좋았다. 근처에는 최근에 생긴 mad monkey hostel이 있어서 식당이나 바 이용을 할 수 있었고 조용히 자기에 좋았다. 섬의 가운데에 있어서 2~3박을 묵으며 스쿠터로 관광명소를 돌아다니기에 적합하다. 그리고 세탁서비스가 있다.

많은 리뷰에 호스트가 친절하다고 쓰여있어서 내심 기대했는데 아쉽게도 우리는 타이밍이 안맞았는지 처음 체크인할때 잠깐 방 안내를 받은 것 외에는 호스트와 대화할 기회는 거의 없었다.

Peaceful guesthouse with kind hosts.

A quiet location on a property with some cute farm animals. It was very close to swimming spots, waterfalls and attractions. It was convenient having a motorbike and driving a short distance to the local town for the fresh food markets, eateries and some secondhand shops. Marina was a lovely host and was very hospitable. I really liked being able to order meals from her too - she’s a great cook! The room had a fan, a decent shower and the bed was comfortable.

I enjoyed my stay.

Wonderful

The owner is really nice. They had a fiesta when I was there and she made a big Lechon and even if I arrived late she made sure that I had something to eat. She didn’t wanted me to pay.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it because I had to wake up early because of my diving certification but the rooster around are loud so bring earplugs.

Bé però finalment decepcionant

Estava bastant net i la zona era tranquil·la.

Si plou hi ha goteres, hi ha molta humitat (la motxilla se'm va quedar amb taques de humitat). Diuen que et renten la roba per 60 pesos el quilo, però segurament pesen la roba mullada, perquè ens van clavar un pal per quatre coses a rentar. A més, la dona que renta la roba va venir a reclamar-nos els diners a les 5:30 am, literalment donant a la porta fins que ens vam llevar a a pagar-li.

Enjoyable! The staff were very accommodating and friendly, it made our Siquijor experience extra special.

It is quiet, you can relax. The bed is spacious and the room is homey.

The water from the faucet has black flakes mixed in the water and there was a gecko and spider that entered the window of the cr.

Simple and clean accommodation off the beaten track

Clean and free water refills. Close to waterfalls and away from the hustle and bustle. Able to rent motorbike from owners for a decent price. AC worked well!

Just a note that the standard double room is fan only - after an uncomfortable night, we ended up paying extra for AC which was much better. Please note there is no hot water at this accommodation.

Big spacious and clean room. Helpful staff. Free cold and hot water refill. They provide breakfast/dinner if needed. Scooter rental available.

The location is quite far from everything. No restaurant or convenience store in walking distance! (rent a scooter a the pier)

Friendly host, good breakfast, Hot and Cold water and cups 24/7, nice property. Good to sit outside in the evenings. Lazi (good food) and waterfall close by. Quiet except from the roosters.

Very cozy place with the very friendly owners. At first glance, it looks a little bit far from everything in the island but if you stay on Siquijor for 3-4 days and more to explore all the caves, waterfalls and underground river, it's a very good choice to stay.

Very good

It's a good and affordable place. When the family was there, they were quite helpful and we were able to ask every night for hot water. They have like four different WiFis, so it's a great chance that one is working like in our case. All in all not a bad place to stay!

Our arrival was quite strange as the owners weren't there and the child didn't know anything about our arrival. The following days the family wasn't really there and it was quite hard to get in contact with them if there was something needed.

Owners are so lovely, we spend 2 nights, it is definitely a good place if you want to discover Siquijor and exchange with such nice family :)

Exceptional

Lovely quiet place. Staff went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Owner gave me a fantastic deal on a room and motorcycle. Room was clean and bed very clean and comfortable. Owner was very helpful and helped me to obtain my requirements to be able to the island in the lockdown period. I stayed here for 14 because I simply loved it. Highly recommend.
