The best hostess you'll ever find

Ms. Trang is the best hostess you'll ever find. I can't thank her enough for all she did while my husband and I stayed at her homestay - sometimes she'd just surprise us with a free meal, or an orange juice when it was too hot, helped my husband prepare a surprise for my birthday,... It was just great. The room was small but absolutely fine for us, and it was very tidy and clean. At night, it was very peaceful and quiet which was perfect for a good night of sleep and rest. If we ever return to the Cham Islands, we'll definitely stay with Ms. Trang again. Absolutely recommended.

La famille qui nous reçoit a été super, toujours prête à nous aider et très chaleureuse et touchante

Le réveil par le message du gouvernement par haut-parleurs à 5h30 du matin tous les jours pendant au moins 1hr mais rien à voir avec le homestay, c' est comme ça presque partout au Vietnam, il faut s'habituer

Very good

The place is very close to the pier and the owner was to kind to come and pick us up:) She was very nice, she booked to boat tickets and also organized a private boat trip in the afternoon for us, we loved it!

Everything was ok! Communication in English was a little tricky, but worked out in the end!

Relaxation

The family was very nice and helpful the room was clean and private I slept in everyday. 5 min walk to a beautiful beach 20 to another south of town and 30-40 to one before the next town. You have to give notice if you want to eat at the home stay in advance the day of. The food was delicious too large portions of well flavored fish rice and soup. I would definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance. It’s a 10 min walk from the ferry also.

I think the worst thing was the location as you were more so on the north side of the island. But there is a motorbike you can rent at a good price.

The house is welcoming, light, airy, in a great location and well cared for. The main living room is the heart of the house and is a joy to spend time in. Trang and Vu are exceptional hosts. I’d live here forever if i could.

Disappointing

I’m not sure why people before so excited. It was strange, no one knows English and doesn’t look like the pictures. Sorry but just disappointing. Good A.C

The bathroom has half wall. (You can smell everything in the room) And the water from the sink just getting out next to the toilet. Also we couldn’t find a way to use hot water in the shower.

Friendly Homestay on a beautiful island!!

The family are very friendly and helpful, there son speaks good English and can help arrange anything you like. They have there own boats to take you snorkeling and can rent you snorkel equipment if you wish to just go to the beaches yourselves. The room is basic but clean and all that you need for a stay on the islands. The breakfast was really good with bread, eggs and delicious fruit! They can also arrange the ferry ticket for a cheap price and will offer to pick you up and drop you off at the ferry pier on the island if you like.

Friendly family and nice to be a little bit off the main area and in the community more. Staff was helpful organizing motorbike rental and fishing trip.

Can't really complain about anything for the price...Don't expect luxury, it's a basic place.

A lovely little gem with wonderful hosts

The homestay is a really lovely property off the main village and has an absolutely amazing view. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful and so lovely.

Be ready for the 5.30am call but take this opportunity to enjoy the island when it is cooler and tourists haven’t arrived yet.

Homestay runs by a very welcoming family always ready to help. It's at 3 minutes walk of the best beach in the island. One of us got sick and the mother of the homestay took care of her like it was her own child. You feel like your own home there. Excellent price for the quality. I can only recommend this place.

Best experience in vietnam so far!

The homestay is super clean and spacious! The location is perfect as well (8 minutes to the nearest beach, 10 minutes to the pier)! And above all: the family living there is so very kind! They make the best breakfast and lunch and are very helpful! The woman helped us find sunscreen and rented motorbikes for us. We really loved our stay there and can recommend it!

Following the advice of previous guests, we booked meals for the whole family at the homestay during the stay. Expected results: low price, fresh seafood, delicious food. In terms of facilities, it is not convenient and luxurious as in the mainland, but compared to homestays in Cu Lao Cham, Trang Vu homestay is a great choice.

The homestay offers what one can expect or even more at this price. A very nice beach in walking distance, lot of others by motorbike (offered by the homestay). Friendly and easy atmosphere.

Lot of noice around, even in late evening hours (loud music and spoken announcements)
