Perfect place to experience Transilvania culture and atmosphere. Wonderful guidance by kind owner for neighboring church tour and beautiful dinner in the classic house. Highly recommended.

We liked the seerenity of the location and its authenticity as a traditional transylvanian village.

We were accomodated in the quiet two-storey countryhouse with a great view on the fortified church. What most impressed us was the serenity of the location and its authenticity as a traditional transylvanian village.

One of the best accommodations in the region.

The accommodation had an amazing atmosphere and charm which tied in perfectly with it's surroundings. The renovation of the old buildings is an example of how it should be done and the overall decoration is done with taste and balance. You rarely find all of the comfort of modern hotels in refurbished lodgings such as this one but Transylvania Guesthouse is the perfect combination of traditional rustic charm and modern conditions. The owners and their staff were super nice and very attentive and even facilitated a guided tour of the old fortified church. The food was great and I we truly recommend the dinner menu. In short we loved our stay.

The mattresses could have been more comfortable.

The breakfast was good and if you are staying somewhere like this you are wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and this definitely meets that requirements

Verry good rooms, and all the rooms and acoomodation areas all are verry nice decorated. The atmosphere is verry nice. Also the staff and the restaurant was vewrry good. So We reccomend this place to stay.

a beautiful old village, a considerable part of it renovated by the owners of the guesthouse, so on their own they practically saved a village, bravo! Now the old school of the village and a few houses around the church and school form an excellent ensemble of guest-rooms, exhibitions, a restaurant, nice gardens and a huge library, very nice athmosphere!

A serene getaway and a truly peaceful experience. It's a perfect pitstop for a night or two when exploring the Transylvania region. The host is very kind, friendly, and welcoming.

At breakfast, the food was left in the open and attacked by bees & flies. Should organize some food coverings or hot plates with lids.

Very memorable stay in very special place

Beautiful apartment in amazing location though the road to get to it was temporarily closed so we had to take a detour through a dirt track (dont do it at night!). Amazing dinner in a beautiful barn, very friendly staff, we even got to listen to a piano recital by a young Ukrainian refugee guest in the beautiful library. Very touching! Breakfast was very good (also in the barn) and the apartment was really big, very tastefully decorated, quiet, impeccable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!!

There are no food shops nearby in case you arrive and are hungry. Tea and lemonade is available for free in the barn, which was very nice.

Amazing place, where time stands still and the quality is at high standards!

Amazing location! Everything is perfect, quite, well taken care! The renovation of all the buildings is an amazing work. All the staff is so nice and welcoming, I would come here all the time! The gourmet food is really good. Bonus: there are a lot of cute cats around.

FABULOUS PLACE IN TRANSYLVANIA

This is a fabulous that I cannot reccomend enough. The building itself is a masterpiece, the library is unreal, you have to see it to believe it, the beautiful restaurant with its gorgeous garden would make a lovely wedding setting. The food is delicious, everyone is so kind...will return for sure!!

The toilet kept flushing in room S3, but it wasn't that big of a problem, as we simply turned the water off :)

Well preserved heritage and distinctive services.

We have enjoyed the hospitality of Mrs. Schuster and her team, the tasteful breakfast and dinners, the excellent selection of wines. We have also appreciated to be welcomed with our well behaved dog. The church tour with Mrs. Schuster was insightful.
