The location with a patio right over the source of the Nile was fantastic. Good meals served in the restaurant on the premises.
If I have to mention a dislike it would be the distance to centre of town but we were aware about it and had our own car so we managed it well.

The view
The Challets did not have charging points. In fact all of them were not working

The view was amazing! Being right on the Nile River was so amazing!
Lots of mosquitos and bug bites, unfortunately, even with the nets around the beds.

I loved the location, the views were amazing, staff was quite njce and extremely helpful, went out for their way to make sure we had an awesome stay with a smile on at all times.
The food wasnt so great, alwayS too salty or limited options, they also didnt have a mixologist or a wine selection available on site.

The view is nice...
We booked this place to relax after a trip to Uganda. From the pictures and previous reviews it seemed a nice resort with an outstanding view.
However, we have been very disappointed. There was no electricity, and ok, it might be normal in this part of the world. But they did not even have a working generator so we ended up eating dinners with the torch and we could not charge our phones.
We not only missed hot water, but the shower did not work at all and we had to use water in buckets. Not what you expect in a resort @ more than 100 USD per night. You don't even expect to find poop of geko lizards everywhere in the room: definetly it was not properly cleaned.
No choice of food and also of bad quality: just chicken curry and veg curry every evening and you are forced to eat there cause it is a bit far from the city and it is not feasible / difficult if you don't have a car. Dinner was at 35K or 45K Ush that is such a lot for what was offered.
We were the only guests for the 2 nights we spent there and this was weird. No security services: no guardian and gate opened even during the night so we did not feel safe.
Of course do not expect WiFi.
We slept in budget places around at way lower costs but with way better services (hot shower, electricity, WiFi, etc.).
Beware of this place and of previous reviews.

It is situated at the Source of the Nile with beautiful views.
The resort needs some TLC for sure and the grounds could be better maintained. The rooms are very basic with no tea/coffee facilities. The choices on the menu at the restaurant are very limited. It is not near any other restaurants and a person would need to take a taxi into Jinja for other restaurant options. The resort does not accept US$ in cash as the notes have to be in a perfect condition (no folds/marks whatsoever and the notes have to recently issued) for the banks in Jinja to accept the notes apparently.

Location, Location, location!!!! and have their own boat at extremely reasonable price to go to the source of the Nile.
Was disappointed at first (late check in was dark). River view was great but for the price I expected kettle and condiments. Then when we woke up at day break and found restaurant had the best view in the house. Simply Stunning. Glad we went for breakfast. The view is absolutely AMAZING. Went from initial disappointment to WORTH EVERY PENNY. When i get back to Jinja i will make my number one choice for value for price. Extremely recommend!!!!

The location is amazing, it is 500 m from the source of the nile, directly on the beach.
Staff were amazing especially Beatrice, she was very kind with our daughter and went above and beyond to make sure that is we are all taken care of.
They arranged a taxi to take us to to Entebbe for our flight next day and it was very reasonably priced.
Our room was basically a modified tent. Although the resort has other rooms but somehow that did not show in bookings.com and we ddi not know that we booked a tent. It was not the resort fault though. I would advice you all them directly and book, you will also get a better price.

Everything was awesome!

Helpful staff, incredible views from the room, comfy bed and good WiFi. A very short walk to the Speke monument. A beautiful place.
Loud music from across the river but can't blame Living Waters for that.

The view is incredible. The layout follows a rustic/rural look, a little different than expected but was really quite beautiful. The morning view was phenomenal and the bed was super comfy. There are monkeys around the property which you have a pleasure to see and take photos of.
The water wasn't as hot as I would have liked. The property wasn't quite as expected given the photos on booking.com, however in the end it met our expectations. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. A curtain separates the bathroom from the bedroom.

The view was stunning and the location by the Nile perfect!
The room seemed old and not well prepared for guests.

We arrived at 20:30 PM and we still could eat diner, that was nice! The diner was good. Also the view in the morning to eat our breakfast was nice. There were mosquito nets above the beds, that's a positive thing!
The room didn't look like the pictures, at all. The sheets on the bed were dirty. The mattress was very thin, I could feel the slatted base. Some mosquito nets had holes in it so the little insects could enter the beds easily. Sometimes we smelled pee, no idea from where it came. On the site they said: room with view on The Nile, it was nothing like that. Also on the site there were nice pictures from a buffet, no buffet seen. The WiFi was not working in the room.

The view and peace of this place is incomparable! It is breath-taking. And the accommodation made it so that you were close to nature. There is a glamping tent that is super cool.
I mean, nature equals insects but these were not aggressive and I did not get any bit (but I also had long sleeves and pants!)
