The room was amazing as was the food and all the staff were very helpful and friendly
I can't think of anything we didn't like
4.3
Excellent place to stay after attending a wedding at Chatsworth. We were upgraded free of charge and our only regret is that we weren't staying longer.
Slight delay when we arrived (presumably the upgrade was a part of this!)
4.3
The property had character. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive. All our requests were carried out.
Better temperature control in the bedroom. In the shower a grip handle on the wall would be useful because the shower floor became very slippery during use.
4.3
Great food, lovely staff and very comfortable bedroom. The Sunday dinner was excellent with a good wine selection. The tea making area in the room was great with some amazing biscuits. The robes were very plush and the bathroom really warm with a lovely shower. we asked for the beds to be made into twin beds and they did it immediately, no fuss.
4.3
Cooked breakfast lovely, evening food good, great location for exploring the national park
Think the mattress in our room needed attention, sloped to one side
4.3
Really pleasant, well motivated and experienced staff in abundance
Slightly chaotic interface between dining and local drinkers

Great choice -Service Excellent
The key to any hotel, restaurant is of course the team -the attitude of the team etc
They are an enthusiastic ,well trained team who clearly enjoy what they do
Nothing I can think of -we were all happy
The fact that we were happy is show by the fact we re booking a return visit quite soon
4.3
Cute pub and hotel. cosy rooms. easy parking.
The window couldn’t close in our bedroom, and in February that’s a bit chilly. There is quite a bit of noise from the pub. We had dinner at the restaurant/pub which was very average. We had to wait an hour and 15 mins between starter and main course, despite chasing, and not even an apology. expensive for what is was.
4.3
Staff and food were amazing and the room was very comfortable, warm and clean

Cosy bar area, comfortable room. Large car park.
Food was a bit hit and miss, one of us really enjoyed dinner the other not so much.
4.3
Breakfast was ok. Dinner was a car crash!
We ordered expensive steaks. They were cooked ok but were at best warm, not got. The plate was freezing cold. The chips were warm. When we asked for the food to be heated up, there was no apology and it was returned on a warm plate but the steak was still only warm. Such a pity as the room was perfect and we were looking forward to a lively meal. Not to be

Room was lovely and location was excellent
Got given a time for our dinner, told where to sit rather given a choice. Food was not to the standard expected. Medium rare steak was under cooked and was told in the morning that they had run out of baked beans for breakfast. not sure how you can run out of baked beans with shops close by.
We felt like we were not relevant and that outside meal books were more important.
4.3
Exceptional - felt like they would cook whatever we asked for
4.3
friendly staff, nice atmosphere. nice interior decor in the bedrooms
the decor downstairs seemed a little tired and out of keeping with the age of the pub .
4.3

Breakfast was lovely staff were amazing
Room was a little small for the price
4.3
The inn was cosy and clean. The food was exceptional as was the service from the staff
The only gripe would be that the bed tilted down slightly which meant I kept nearly falling out of the bed. But that's the fault of the hundreds of years old floor not the establishment
4.3
excellent but slow to arrive
A bit faster with breakfast. Sunday paper would be excellent.

All service was excellent
Would rather of had a shower in the room and not a bath
