Such a beautiful place! I spent 2 nights here and it was just wonderful, the views from my little terrace were breathtaking and the finca and surrounding areas were so lush. Food was delicious and they catered really well for my dairy allergy. I did the coffee tour which is an absolute must. The staff were also super helpful and booked my onward buses (twice because I managed to miss the first one!!)
Everything was wonderful, the only small thing was I did the plantain cooking course which was in a different building, then at the end we were told we should give the teacher a tip (we had paid for the course). I didn’t have any cash on me as there was no need on the finca as you signed receipts for everything, so I felt really uncomfortable and awkward as I had to try to explain to the woman that I thought her course was very good but I didn’t have cash. Maybe they should tell you that tips are expected or something.

Wonderful reception staff, very good coffee tour, food good and staff very helpful. Unbelievable location and wildlife although not that easy to teach in a non 4 wheel drive

Highly recommended. Located in nature, in the midst of a large coffee farm. Have had some 2000 hotel nights in my life, but have rarely run into such lovely staff. They all had the ability to make you feel like the most wanted guest, always happy to help and give a smile. Food was very nice, good variation for breakfast, free good coffee from the hacienda and a set dinner that we always enjoyed. Nice pool area and good walks with the opportunity to see lots of birds. A special thanks to Gilbert who provided a tour through the coffee making process in a personal and humorous way.
Have to think... no big thing, more of a tip but water in the shower could be a bit warmer in the evening and there could be some more places to hang clothes. What i disliked most is that we couldn't stay longer!

Paradise. If you dream of visiting the perfect coffee farm this is it. The friendly staff, nature at your doorstep, attention to local tradition and cuisine, the perfect climate... The evenings at the main house with nice drinks, the walks around the farm, exotic tropical birds everywhere, options for all kinds of activities. The possibility of a luxury stay, but also offering lower cost options at other parts of the hacienda. We stayed at the main house and our sons in the hostal, overlooking the plantation at a ten minute walk on the other side of the brook. Hacienda Venecia is dedicated to show the best of Colombia to everyone and at every budget. It is amazing to visit a traditional family house that has found a way to survive in the difficult coffee trade. You are on a working farm, but it's so much more than that.
Just amazing. We heard from the owner that sometimes people are worried that there isn't any air conditioning. That's because you don't need it! It has the perfect climate... Yes it's the tropics, but not at sea level. During the day it's mostly sunny and around 23 Celsius, but in the evening the temperature drops to about 16C and it starts to rain, great for coffee and perfect for sleeping :-)

Everything. The surroundings are beautiful, full of birds. The staff working there cooked amazing meals and were so nice.
Only one thing, I booked the Mockingbird room and they gave us a smaller room, the Peacock.

The place is a real getaway from civilization but with all the needed benefits: good food, fantastic landscapes around, excellent vegetation, a small pool, birds singing, and peacocks screaming:) The small scale of property assures that there will not be crowdy. The coffee tour from Johannes was very interesting and sophisticated in the good meaning of this word. We were impressed by the coffee production organization.
Wifi connection in rooms in Coffee Lodge is unstable, but it is much better in the kitchen area. Just keep this in mind if you plan to work during your vocations.

I loved everything of the hacienda, it's a magical place to live the coffee experience at 360°. The accommodations are beautiful and the view from the rooms are amazing. The coffee tour was super interesting but we stayed one night and couldn't do any other activities. I suggest to stay 2/3 nights if you have time, you will leave the hacienda completely regenerate ❤ The food is delicious and the staff absolutely welcome and lovely.

The location is amazing and the coffee tour staff (Johan) made our trip. The interior design was very traditional and stylish.
The communal area felt very awkward in the evenings as no music or noise really allowed.
The food was very basic and the rooms are very basic.
The staff were a little rude too about using their taxi service and did not give very helpful information about the bus etc. ended up in downtown and nearly late for our flight

The house was amazing, everything from the surroundings, the room, bathroom etc, were amazing. I specially loved the smell of the bathroom flowers.
It can be a little challenging to arrive but totally worth it and the hotel staff was extremely helpful since the beginning.

Flowers, many colorful birds, bamboo, trees and of course coffee (and bananas and cacao): totally emerged in this natural/agricultural paradise.
The coffee tour was very nice.
The ladies serving breakfast and dinner are very friendly and welcoming.
the coffee lodge has a bit of a backpacker vibe.

Everything was perfect. We enjoyed so much the breakfast and the views from the main house, where we were hosted. We also enjoyed the tour “Café con aroma de mujer” with the guide Manuela.

Hacienda Venecia is a beautiful place to stay. The surroundings are gorgeous, with the coffee plants, the tropical trees, the birds...
We stayed in the coffee lodge and had a very good experience. Food is delicious, served to all the guests when the bell rings, and cooked "in front of you" by the great staff of the Hacienda.
The bedroom was simple but comfortable, with a very nice view (a balcony facing the coffee plants). Coffee was great and free.
We did the Cocoa experience and the coffee tour and absolutely loved both. We visited the main house, which was gorgeous too.
Organization was great: they picked us up from the bus stop coming from Pereira and took us by jeep to the Hacienda. Also helped us to buy the tickets to come back and gave us a ride to the bus again.
The only problem we had was a group of tourists that was staying up until late singing... It wouldn't be much of a problem if it is a place where you stay up late, but after dinner there is nothing to do (no TV for example) and we were hoping to enjoy the silence and the nature, which we couldn't...

So nice personal, they were just perfect. The coffee tour in English was also very good and the guide was very good.
