Nothing. Could be cold in winter

Stunning property, stylishly put together, with amazing gardens in a beautiful spot. Makes a big difference that the original features have been kept, and enhancdd by the way the living spaces have been furnished.
Access to a kitchen and fridge would have been great, especially given the distance to the town.

the historic building is in great shape and is very well taken care off, the decoration suites the kind of place in a way that doesn’t make it feel like an hold hotel but a modern one in an old building.
nothing I can point out

Artística e original come muita atmosfera
the outside cushions and mattress covers were dirty

it was not the common hotel experience, very welcoming and you felt relaxed straight away. The properties design has kept the historic vibe of the property itself with some modern touches included.
will definitely be going again.

The convent is a truly fabulous wonderful building, a mixture of old stones and thoughtful renovation mixed in with a truly decorative flair. This hotel screams eclectic chic, a mixture of antique, mid century furniture and collections everywhere of pots and glassware. Comfortable lounges with lots of decoration books and magazines, it was fabulous. Outside a pool, too cold for us to use unfortunately, with old brass beds for lounging, again fabulous. Bruno made us feel very welcome
The problem with this hotel is that of beauty without practicality. Yes, our room was large, comfortable in an old fashioned way, but the bed was an old brass one and squeaked very badly, had to put the mattress on the floor. Pillows horrible and lumpy. The building is full of charm but our room was full of small flies and I mean hundreds, as it is a recurring problem put some netting on the windows! Breakfast was a disaster, first you can't have it before 9, so at nine the breakfast room is full of people wanting to get on. It took 45 mn for one chap to set up what he should have set up the night before, again not an once of practicality or even common sense, a cake arrived first but it took another 20 mn for bread to arrive and an other 20 mn for anything to put on it! Beauty without practicality: a lovely old embroidered old cloth on the table and horrible instant coffee which arrived at 9.45! Nice staff, but not enough of them to do the work and obviously no training in hospitality.

Nothing, it was just outstanding and very good!

The entire environment and design of the place is alone worth going there. It is like nothing else. It is in a quiet rural setting with nice garden and still less than 10 minutes slow walking to center of town. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
No complaints whatsoever

We originally booked the room with the roof but because it was raining we had to choose another room
The place is special and the furniture is interesting, a few minutes drive to the central area of the town
Breakfast was very good
The bed was very comfortable
The wooden floor is very noisy, the open toilets are less pleasant and the shower is very basic

This place is just incredible.
The style and attention to detail is just wonderful. Lovely breakfast served under olive trees by the pool
The staff are so helpful and friendly.
The position is great , just a walk up to Castello de vide , a lovely town and surrounded by great walking and cycling country .
That we couldn’t stay a month

Great location, great swimming pool, charming house and furnishings. The problem was the heat, but for our request the air conditioner was brought. There could be a better selection of wine and drinks in the bar. Breakfast was very good,

What a beautiful place! My husband and myself had such a great time. Having some nice breakfast under some olive trees, swimming in a pool everyday, going out to explore the area. Bruno was the best host ever! The every part of the building and decoration was as if it was on an interior magazine. We would definitely come back!
There were two pillows and one was full of cotton balls. It was uncomfortable.

Loved the decor, style and ambiance. The pool and garden was amazing.
The lighting in our room was a bit lackluster, but didn't pose a problem.

Great breakfast, good location, easy walking distance from the town. Great living room lounge area for guest use. All beautifully eclectically decorated!
Temperature within the place was a bit cold when we stayed. We got a heater but it was difficult to get warm, especially in the lounge area. The road entrance is full of holes so not easy to drive into parking.

We really enjoy everything in this placed: great decoration, really comfy, staff, parking, swimming pool. This is the second time we spend our holidays here, and we intend to come back asap. Also, Castelo de Vide is a lovely village.

Outstanding location, with a superb view. Refurbished old convent and typical local houses, with a mixed of rustic and modern decoration, that makes you at ease the moment the arrive.
Extremely kind and professional staff, ready to handle any situation and make sure you'll ok.
