Beautiful setting by the sea. The rooms were nice and the staff brilliant.

Despite of a very windy week in Crete I had a very nice time in this hotel! All the people are very friendly and happy and they have a wonderful dining terrace where you can woutch the sunset or simply enjoy the seaside view at every moment of the day!
My room was pretty and very large and quiet. As it was a bit cold in April I did appraciete the heating pump a lot.

Small hotel, Very good situated next to the beach and off the main road. Extremely warm welcome and mindful service! Thanks for all!

No complaints at all.

We were in Elia Agia during the wedding of our friends. The hotel is very small, comfortable for 3-4 nights. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. There was a good choice of different types of breakfast.
Staff always helpful and happy to help anytime. They were giving fresh towels everyday and also they offered a shuttle from the airport.
To Chania city centre it's around 40min. I didn't see any public transport there, so it's good to have a car or motorbike.
I don't have anything to say here. Elia Agia was a really nice hotel with small beach.

Easygoing atmosphere, helpfulness of staff, breakfast adequate for vegetarians, well-kept lawn and ease of access to beach.
Breakfast did not give much variety for vegetarians as many items contained ham or bacon (but staff willing to cook a plain omelette when asked).

The view of the sea was beautiful and pared well in the mornings with the exceptional breakfast spread they provided. It is a great location just outside of Chania that allows easy access into the city and easy commutes to a lot of fun local places.

This is simply a lovely hotel right on the beach in Agia Marina with amazing staff, great breakfasts and super clean rooms. It's a great location for snorkeling as well, all the way over to Theodosius Island if you are a good swimmer. We would definitely go back to this Elia (it's a chain of 13 hotels) and explore more of Crete. It's also an adults only establishment which definitely creates for a quieter and relaxed environment. They will be adding another building for 2023 including a spa which should make it an even better holiday experience. I would suggest going there before October because the sea become too rough on this side of Crete to enjoy the snorkeling.
Nothing at all.

The staff were friendly exceptionally helpful and friendly, the access to the beach and the outlook from the dining room/bar were really nice
Agia Marina is a characterless resort that could be anywhere. The rooms in the rear building look out onto the flank wall of the adjoining hotel, the balconies have a very restricted oblique view of the sea. It feels like the hotel has been built back to front as the access deck and room entrances face the sea on the other side. We were very disappointed that our room basically looked into a blank wall on the ground floor, we were moved after two nights to a slightly better room on the first floor. The only rooms worth having in this hotel are the ones in the original building facing the beach.

Elya is a network of boutique hotels, and you get high value for your money.
It’s located next to a beautiful beach, has nice rooms with great view to the beach (ours was a sea view room on the upper floor), really rich breakfast, and a nice stuff, (although not personal attitude too much- still it’s not a family business).
There’s a nice small pool and a private beach front.
The town is really nice and quiet tourist town, offering great restaurants and activities.
small things that can be improved/fixed:
1. the Internet was very weak, we weren’t able to use it most of the time.
2. the water stream flow is also so weak that it’s very inconvenient.
3. when flushing the water in the toilets it spread the water outside, watering the person who used it.
4. the beach beds are rough and not comfortable

Staff was always extremely helpful, the cleaning ladies did a great job as well.
The beach is really nice and the hotel provides sunbeds and beach towels.
The rooms were great (big, nice balkony, well equipped).
Free parking, bus station nearby and many nice tavernas in walking distance.
The beds were not too comfortable, pillows too big imo and the bedsheet could not really be tucked under the mattress. This made me remove the bedsheet by turning around in my sleep all the time and as a result I woke up every night from the scratchy mattress touching my body.
Wifi in our room was never working, we could only use it in the hotel lobby. Also no smart TV.
The breakfast was okay, but I expect more from a 4* hotel.
We did not want our towels replaced every day, there was no option provided to signal that to the cleaning staff.

The hotel has an amazing seaview, loved the varied breakfast- even gluten & diary free options.
Organized excursions to Elafosini and Balos makes our holiday unforgettenable.
Definetly coming back.
Matress was too soft for us

Good breakfast and pleasant stuff.

Everything was perfect! Location right on the beach with soft sand and free sunbeds and umbrellas, the sea was perfect in this area. Very close to shops and tavernas with great food, close to Chania town and there is a bus station 3 minutes away from the hotel. The room was modern and new, clean, very comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, big private balcony, good breakfast. We will stay here again when in Chania.
