Nice staff, good atmosphere

Danielle is an open hearted welcoming host that would make you feel at home!
location is perfect - near to the bars/stores/restaurants and is less than 10min away from the beach (walking). And for that price La Fresa is a jewel!
it was little hard to recognize, as there was no sign outside the building mentioning the name of the location

Good
Toilet and shower not separate

Very good location, equipped kitchen, nice staff (especially Andrea), nice decoration of the hostel, possibility to do your laundry.
It was very quiet for a hostel, I would have liked to spend an evening together around the table eating together or something like that. But I guess it depends on the people that are there too...
The 5min maximum shower rule made me laugh because considering the length of my hair, 5min was enough to wet it only but nobody ever told me anything about my shower being longer! On the other hand, it's true that 2 showers for everyone, it can be a race if the hostel is full
The only negative point actually is the lack of curtains on the beds for privacy. If the staff could add some, it would be perfect I think

Awesome experience! I would definitely recommend and would visit again. The hostel is located a short walk away from basically everything, bus station, grocery store, city center, beach, etc. The beds are super sturdy and comfortable and don't make any noise. The entire place is very clean, including the bathrooms, bedrooms, the kitchen and the terrace with the swimming pool. The personnel is super nice!
I am not sure whether I choose the packet with no towels. Having just one towel would be great, but nevertheless, it was a great experience, and there were no things I did not like in particular.

La Fresa Hostel is different from the other hostels I have stayed at. It really embraces the family and hostel spirit. Daniela, Hernandez and Camila were so accommodating and always helpful. They always made me and others feel at home and as part of a family rather than a guest. The best thing about this hostel is, in its "smallness" (not small at all!), you get to meet and become friends with almost all the other people staying there. I have made plenty of friends when staying there, something bigger or chain/commercial hostels may not give you.
The rooms and common areas were cleaned daily and the amenities were more than enough! The kitchen was fully equipped with things to use for cooking as well as leftover food to be used (if we wanted to) from other people who had stayed there before.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. I honestly cannot find any negatives with La Fresa besides the fact it was hard to leave it. I went to Corralejo for 5 days hoping to fully relax, enjoy my stay and meet new people and so it was. I cannot wait to go back again because in all seriousness I loved my stay and the people there.
Muchas gracias Daniela y a todos de La Fresa, espero de ver todo pronto! Un abrazo :))
A lot of people mentioned how the breakfast offered by the hostel wasn't enough or much. It was okay for me, as I was happy with the food and drinks offered and always felt full. If you are someone who is used to a broad/American style breakfast then maybe this could be one of your negatives for you, but after all, what was given was highly satisfactory for me :)

The hostel is really nice, clean and well organized. Even if it's a bit far from the center it was many bars around and even a small shopping mall.
The breakfast was a bit poor
