Excelente ubicación

La ubicación además de la amabilidad y disponibilidad de Inés.

Que al estar la habitación en una planta baja, para las maletas muy bien, ya que no había que subir escaleras, pero no se podía abrir la ventana y se oía hablar a la gente que pasaba.

My family or I could not have wished or prayed for better or nicer accommodation. The rooms were immaculate and very very spacious. The location is within the old city and absolutely perfect. I genuinely have nothing negative to say about our stay and Ines the host was the most helpful person you could ever wish to have. Nothing was too much trouble from arranging taxis to specific venues (even arranged transport for me to take my Daughter to A&E) which was way above and beyond anything I have experienced. The whole experience made a great trip into an awesome trip. Thank you Ines 👏

The Old City Guest House is a perfect place to stay

Very clean and comfortable place to stay. Location was really good- close to souvenir shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend The Old City Guest House. 15 minute walk to the bus station.

Location is very good. Close to almost all city sights, just in the historical center but very quiet. Cozy and comfortable, good lobby.

Small room. It's a guest house so there is no reception. Provide owner with your arrival time.

A very comfortable base to explore Braga.

I've enjoyed a very agreable stay in Braga. The guesthouse is a super centrally situated, beautifully renovated house, close to the train station (5 mins walk). The host, Inês, is a very welcoming person, and communication with her is friendly and effective. I'd recommend this guesthouse with no hesitation.

The location of the place was perfect. The place was also very unique, an old house with interesting furniture. It has a kitchen which you can use which was also great. Also the stuff was very helpful.

The main problem for me was the ventilation of the room. We were not able to open the windows and the ventilation in the toilet did not seem to work.

Terrific last minute getaway to a great city

incredible location in the old heart of the city. parking right out front. Ines could not have been a nicer host. the family room even had two bathrooms, a lifesaver for our family of five

It is a beatiful, simple and clean and very economic option to stay.

the house is just beautiful, Inês is a very kind and supportive host, responds to all request quickly and finds a solution. the location is great for visiting and exploring Braga, right in the edge of the historic city. Breakfast options are right around the corner and so are many many excellent restaurants and bars. The house does have a kitchen free to use for those guests who would like to cook themselves (and miss out on the amazing Portuguese cuisine :)

The most beautiful room I had stayed at in Portugal, with a charming balcony that opens up to a view of exquisite house facades. I forgo quite a bit of sightseeing just to lay in bed on that perfect spot and looking out the balcony. The hostess is most kind. The room is super clean and comfortable. The location could not be better. Highly recommended.

Just a minor thing. The showerhead had to be held by hand instead of being fixed to the wall. It was a bit clumsy to maneuver, but it is such a small issue.

Location was perfect - near the bus station and the bus stop needed to go to Bom Jesus. Also near some great restaurants.

beautiful home

I loved the location and the owner, she was very sweet and accommodating. the young lady that checked me in wasn’t helpful. It’s a very beautiful home. I felt very safe there and it was a block away from restaurants and cathedral.

I didn’t have internet unless I was on the main floor. I know covid ruins everything but there wasn’t breakfast, not even water in the fridge or coffee. Also church bells go off every morning at 8:00 and don’t stop. it’s not a pretty sound like you would think. it’s more like clanking. Its so close to bars that you hear patrons all night drinking til about 4am. The bed was rock hard. I had to gather all the blankets off the other bed to put under me. weirdly enough, because of the location, beauty of the home the owner and cleanliness and security, I’d stay there again. I would bring ear plugs though.

Lovely Guesthouse!

A lovely villa right within the center. The owner is very friendly and tried to accommodate to all my needs and helped with further travel arrangements. Due to Covid it was very empty when I stayed there but I can imagine especially with a few people more the really cozy common area is a nice spot to gather and meet other guests.

Wonderful smaller guest house, warm ambience, close to central old town Braga.

Excellent small older style guest house in the old part of Braga. Walking distance from train station (approx. 10 to 15 mins), very close to all the main attractions of this most lovely smaller and history-rich city, with a true Baroque finish.. Abundant nearby places to enjoy coffee, cakes, full meals and even enjoy a good local craft beer. There are 5 rooms in the guest house. The room I stayed in was very spacious, great comfortable bed and large bathroom and good hot water (a little time to warm up). The place was exceptionally clean, and there was a lovely space on the first floor, tastefully decorated with chairs and lounges for resting etc. The kitchen was also accessible with tea coffee etc. The breakfast was included and most enjoyable. Good coffee. Theresa looking after reception, was most welcoming and helpful, and hospitable. The Minho free walking tour at the west gate also worthwhile (green umbrella).

No complaints here.
